the beds are slightly small so if you are taller than 175cm, you should note it. further, there is no paper in toilets, you have to prepare yoursrlf. the others are totally comfy enough.

It was really nice experience we had at Passang Dawa's place. We felt like home. Passang bhai greated us warmly & introduced with his parents (fluent Bengali speaking). Great feelings. Wishing Pasang bhai best for his endeavours.

It was our First visit to Darjeeling, and we should say we never felt we were away from home. Thanks to Amit for providing such a wonderful experience through out our stay. food was really tasty and was served hot. Dining area was providing a great view of the town.

Our first AirBNB booking at The English Cottage was truly beautiful! The heritage cottage vibes and ethereal mountain views won our hearts immediately. The Deck has gorgeous views! Despite always staying in hotels for all our trips, this homely atmosphere, immaculate room and all the available amenities made us very comfortable. Sharon and Sanjeev are truly Superhosts! Sharon goes above and beyond, customizing breakfast for each guest and ensuring everyone feels at home. Every morning felt like a family meal with Sharon, Sanjeev, and other guests, sharing stories and enjoying a hearty breakfast. They gave excellent recommendations for things to do, places to visit and restaurants to try. They even loaned us ponchos and umbrellas for a rainy day forest trek because the ones we already had were small. We're looking forward to our next stay here; it truly feels like a home away from home, and that's simply priceless! - Anwesha & Pratik

A Great play to have a peaceful and beautiful and cozy stay. Far from the urban hustle and bustle. Studded with a beautiful garden and an incredible view. Caretakers were awesome. Our expectations were met and exceeded.

Every morning began with a beautiful, lovingly prepared breakfast hosted by the most wonderful people we were privileged to call our hosts. Udaya, with his infectious enthusiasm, boundless energy, and incredible stories, made it so hard to get up from the table and start our adventures. After long, fulfilling days exploring, we’d return to their comforting hospitality that recharged us like magic. I’m in awe of Udaya’s unwavering love, determination, and effortless grace in preserving his family’s heritage and way of life. It’s inspiring to witness such genuine care and passion in every little detail. I’m running out of characters to describe how truly special this place and its people are — but if you get the chance to visit The Attic, grab it with both hands. You’ll never forget it.

This was my first time staying in Mangpoo and I would stay here again. The setting is magical. Close to Rabindra Bhavan, which was my only real point of attraction besides the lovely hills seen from Kalpana's place, the living room, the rooftop etc. Great place also to just study, with the living room fronting the bedroom. I enjoyed the home cooked fund too! Wonderful.

Satyam and Subham are really super host, they communicate well and make sure guest have a beautiful time during the stay. The room was well decorated and provide a stunning mountain view. In my next visit I'll surely consider them back and highly recommend the same to every travelers visiting Darjeeling. 5 star 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

The moment me and my son stepped into this homestay, we felt at home, and Anjalina, Rubina and their parents left no stone unturned to ensure that the feeling lasts. We left with a heart full of joyous memories of wonderful conversation we had together and a vibrant body, thanks to the delicious home cooked meals endowed with rare nepali delicacies. The entire family posses a great deal of knowledge on any and every topic from visa interviews and traditional cuisines to life abroad and tourism. We were not treated as mere guests but very parts of their extended family. The location is perfect with all the hotspots in walking distances. If you are planning to experience the serene atmosphere of Mirik or looking for an accomodation in its proximity, don't even think twice before booking their homestay which truly lives upto it's name "haamro ghar"

Great location, walkable to restaurants but away from the noise and crowds. Khushika was very responsive and helpful with restaurant suggestions and taxi service. Very friendly family! Wonderful breakfast as well. I would definitely recommend staying here.

A nice little room which is clean & hygienic. Hosts are extremely sweet & highly cooperative. Some improvements can be made (wash basin, geyser) but not a big deal for a short stay.

We found a new home away from our home. The hospitality of Mrs. and Mr. Lama was so special and from the heart. We will visit again when we hop via Kurseong. Hand downs, eyes closed - recommended.

Girish helped us a lot in choosing the vehicles for the local sightseeing. Also the breakfast was very tasty and our requests were catered with care. I would just suggest a cabinet in the room for keeping the clothes. Rest all was fine and clean
