Welcome to "Cabin on Swede Hill". Our family has farmed this land since 1871. My great grandparents, Swan and Johanna Johnson immigrated to America in the 1860's, found this land which was similar to Sweden. They raised their family here. Approximately 65 Swedish families settled in this community, became to be know as the "Swede Hills". We just received the Hoosier Homestead Award from Indiana celebrating the Sesquicentennial Award. Fogarty’s Flying Diamond Ranch

A unique and beautiful, newly added bunkhouse on the upper level of a barn on a working cattle ranch! Completely private and peaceful, you'll hear birds chirping and tractors running. Sweet cottage on our farm: Fully equipped kitchen and furnished living/sleeping area 14’x15' approx., washer/dryer. Sleeps 4: queen bed and queen sofa bed. Lots of privacy and next to organic garden, fields, stable and fruit orchards. All utilities, TV and WI-FI included. Well water with new water softener and water heater. Pet friendly; no pet fee. Lots of farm paths to walk your pet. Encourage off leash if trained. Horses have moved to another farm while pasture and stable rehabbed.

Welcome to your tranquil retreat nestled along the shores of Indian Lake. This charming lakeside cottage on the Indian Lake Channel, our peaceful cozy retreat offers a private dock, modern amenities, and spacious outdoor space. Enjoy a pontoon ride (Rental), fishing by the pier, a kayak adventure, or retire by the bonfire. This home has a shared private swim area just a short walk down the street. Adjacent to the main cottage, there is a second building featuring two bunk beds.

Walking distance to The Strand and Sister Lakes Brewing Company. 17 miles to Lake Michigan and 30 miles to Notre Dame.

We also have a couple cats that claim the pool area as their own. The long driveway and gravel road are perfect for a leisurely stroll to enjoy the great outdoors. Take a swim in the pool or a soak in the hot tub and let the worries of life melt away during your stay.

The Cabin has a total of 420 sq ft living space with 280 sq ft on the ground floor and a 140 sq ft bedroom loft.
