Saone & Abbey View with Terrace

There is always a first time they say. Raphaël was exceptional! He wasn't only prompt in responding to all our needs, but gone far beyond! We had supper together where he suggested and later he treated us to breakfast before we left Tournus. And of course he didn't forgotten to stock up the fridge, so we could have breakfast the very next morning upon arrival. The apt was very spacious although climbing that steep ladder to bed was a little challenge. When I pointed out that some of the photos didn't match the actual apt, he was very apologetic and explained that Airbnb had added pictures of his ex-office which was in that apt before. Tournus is a remarkable commune full of history and antiquities. The medieval Abbey, a former Benedictine abbey is a must see. To our amazement we noticed the numerous amount of cultural events offered here. We thoroughly enjoyed the performance of the MISA TANGO concert on Sunday. Town and apt recommended! Merci mille fois, Raphaël!

Great night spent in this very spacious, very clean, and really well arranged accommodation. The rooms are very nice with great bedding. Very neat decoration, really cozy atmosphere!! Ideal location on the banks of the Saône for a nice walk. Two minor downsides: a fitted sheet for the baby bed would have been nice. Unfortunately, the cleaning fee is excessive for less than 24 hours spent in the accommodation. I'm happy to come back!
