Smoking-friendly holiday rentals in Sint Maarten

From the very beginning, Jamila went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. Traveling with young kids, I requested an early check-in and late check-out. She not only accommodated us but also helped me find the best local spots to order a birthday cake and food for my daughter’s special island celebration. The penthouse itself is breathtaking—every room boasts stunning views, and the private elevator made moving around effortless (straight from the elevator to the bedroom!). The fully equipped kitchen felt just like home, and the secure environment gave me peace of mind with little ones. This is now my absolute favorite place to stay in St. Maarten. I can’t wait to return to this paradise and book this stunning penthouse again! Pictures don’t do justice. 10/10 experience!

Ava was super warm and friendly. I had a great time staying at the location. The event I travelled to attend was within walking distance and most importantly I felt like I was at home even though I wasn't. Comfortable, affordable and super tranquil surroundings also enhanced the overall experience of my stay. 10 out of 10, I highly recommend ❤

Place was great. Would make a a few small suggestions. A bit more clothes storage & bathroom storage. Kitchen needs bowls. But overall place was great!

This a special place. Perfect for short or extended stays. It was immaculately clean and very comfortable. Everything worked. Air conditioning was very good. The location is in a hilly complex of housing. Make sure that when you arrive and park at the end of the road, you walk up the stairway that is all the way to the left, go past the pool and the final strairway will be on your left. At the top of is stairway, the apartment is to your left at the corner of the building. There is outdoor furniture and a view across the landscape, including the Great Salt Pond. Sumairi was a great host. She cares a lot that the accommodations are comfortable and clean. I enjoyed my conversations with her, as well as our communications.

Amazing. So close walking distance to a bunch of beaches, and nice night life area. Private, luxurious, and felt very safe since it was a gated community. Absolutely adorable condo and friendly neighbors. Highly highly recommend and we will be coming back! Perfect location.

Lexi and Ed were the best host ever. Wonderful location with pristine views that will take your breath away. We’ll definitely be staying again.

This was a very good find especially at the last minute. It’s an oceanfront however it’s not a beach (the view was stunning however)…you can’t go lay out by or walk the along the water. We enjoyed the balcony view which is where we spent most of our time. If you use washcloths, be sure to bring your own because only towels are provided. You will also need to bring your own soaps. We will definitely stay here again. You definitely want to rent a car at LEAST a couple of days so you can venture out. It’s so relaxing that we didn’t do HALF of the things we had planned. Lol

My stay at Smaart Vacation exceeded my expectations. Everything was as it was described on the booking site. The view was breathtaking! The property was in the perfect location. It was a lot to do in the area. I will book with them again in the near future. Look no further for a perfect stay in SXM.

It was okay. Mostly there to sleep and relax. First got there the sliding door was not working properly. We fixed it ourselves. Shower head came off in one of the bathrooms. They did come and fix it but charged us for it. Shouldve been included with the booking in my opinion. There was no extra toilet paper or paper towels. More garbage bags would be nice as well. All in all, goodnplace to stay

Really enjoyed the stay at this beautiful home. Peaceful love the sound of the ocean at night. Fun to watch the airplanes come by after landing and tiring around. The beach is beautiful and the privacy is second to none.

Great location and lovely host! Just 2 min walk from the bus stop, hence one can easily get to any part of the island even without a car. 5 min walk to the quiete and pretty Simpson’s Bay beach. Also plenty of restaurants and supermarkets nearby. The house was safe, clean and comfortable and host Barbara is super kind and helpful. I strongly recommend this place, esp to solo travellers like me who are travelling on a budget.

We spent 4 nights here for work and absolutely loved the view. I spent hours every day on the balcony in the very comfortable chairs. The kitchen could use some TLC with the appliances but nothing bad enough to deter a stay. The only odd part of the condo is that there is no general tv. The only TVs are in the bedrooms so you can’t watch together as a group. Other than that, we loved that it was quiet, had a beautiful pool, could walk to several restaurants, the grocery store, and the beach and that the AC actually kept it COLD. I recommend for any travelers looking for a place to stay with the comforts of a resort without the people. Thanks Emmanuel.

Fantastic stay at AquaMarina! The location is fantastic, as its very close to restaurants and nightlife. The pool is beautiful. It's also walkable to padel and pickleball courts. The unit itself was very clean and well equipped with everything we needed. Our Host Jamila was very responsive and made checking in and out very easy. 10/10 experience.

We had an amazing and peaceful stay at Aqua Marina. This luxury condo is very spacious with a private walk out balcony in each room that boasts spectacular views of the islands Jamila is the perfect hostess. She setup the car rental agreement for our stay and responded immediately to all of our needs. I’m the future, We will stay at this condo without hesitation!

We had a fantastic stay at Dawn Beach. Although construction and rebuilding were happening around he facilities it was great to watch the progress that happened during our stay. We also took full advantage of a less busy pool area which ended up being a bonus for us. The staff was friendly and very helpful and took good care of us. I would highly recommend renting a car as it will allow you to explore the island to its fullest by visiting beaches, venturing to different areas, and accessing restaurants. Mullet Beach, hiking Loterie Farm, grabbing breakfast at Good Morning Cafe, making perfume at Tijon, snorkeling around Anguilla, and eating at Lazy Lizards and Pineapple Pete’s were just some of our favorites. James has an awesome place to stay- thanks so much for sharing your home with our family. We made some once in a lifetime memories.

The unit is exactly as advertised - large, spacious and right on the beach. I couldn't have asked for a better Simpson Bay experience. Friendly neighborhood with everything I needed within walking distance. Beach was beautiful and not crowded. Marianne is truely a superhost and very helpful throughout my stay.

Great location, comfortable unit! It’s not a fancy resort but you’re right near the beach and the best food/nightlife in St Maarten.
