The 700 square foot main floor includes a full bath, a vintage retro kitchenette (micro wave, toaster, coffee maker, refrigerator/freezer, NO OVEN), reclining love seat, a smart tv with WIFI and Direct TV, along with a large dining area with 2 tables. The 500 square foot open loft area includes one full bed and 2 queen beds.

It is spacious with a private entrance if suitable, large kitchenette, family room, dining room, 2 bedrooms, bath/shower full bathroom. Lakeside access. There is complete privacy with a Barn Door closure.

Located on the second level on West Main Street in historic downtown Cherokee, Iowa. This open-concept loft apartment is housed in an 1888 building and features a beautifully restored 10' x 10' skylight, French Empire chandeliers, 12' tin ceiling, and a balcony. The Sumner House is a great place to stay, it has been completely re-modeled and has a great feel, open yet cozy and I love the porch!! There is one bedroom, a full bathroom with a walk-in tiled shower a beautiful new kitchen, a sitting room/parlor and the living room.
