Ocean View Guest Suite in Hillside Escape

Situated on top of Hoop pine Lane Hill 1.5 km from the peaceful beaches of Suffolk Park. Our Studio is attached to the main house with views of the Byron Bay light house and Tallow beach. Set opposite a nature reserve, wake up to the sounds of native birds and wildlife. The Studio is fully self contained with a spacious living area and kitchenette, with a coffee machine, microwave, oven, fridge, toaster and kettle, and dual air-con/heating system. Our dreamy cane chair library space is full of wonderful reads about Byron Bay and Beyond, our local indigenous history, surfing, and guides of where to eat and what to do. The master suite has a luxurious hand crafted wooden king bed, with a large walk in robe next to the bathroom, with ironing facilities and clothes horse. Our studio is ideal for a romantic Byron Bay getaway or a family with a young child. For the golf enthusiasts, the beautiful Byron Bay Golf Course is only a 5 min walk down the hill. *An adorable and very friendly chocolate labrador called Mae lives on site, and loves to visit and cuddle with guests. Guest have access to their own off street car park in front of the garden bed on our property, and private entry to the Studio is via the paved pathway to the right of the house. Free high speed wifi. We respect the privacy and choices of our guests whilst on holiday, yet we are available 24/7 via mobile to help with any enquires. Suffolk Park is on the southern outskirts of Byron Bay, New South Whales overlooking the stunning Tallow Beach stretch to Broken Head National Park. It is 30-minute drive of the airport and 5 minutes from the bustling Suffolk Park community shops. Depending on the kind of holiday you are seeking, it is advisable to hire or have access to a car, for the convenience and accessibility to explore the area. To get to the Studio, it is 45min drive south from the Goldcoast, or 25min drive north from Ballina/Byron Gateway Airport. As mentioned the studio is situated on top of a hill, down hill stroll is always fun yet on return... Your booty will get a solid workout. Within 5 min drive to the bustling Suffolk Park community and beach access. Or 15-20min walk. There is access to the local bus routes. We truly love this space and hope you get as much pleasure, relaxation and enjoyment from it as we did creating it.

Situated in a quiet, family-oriented neighbourhood, the flat is right next to our house. This is therefore suited for people who want a place to ‘chillax’ before and after a day/night at the phenomenal town of Byron Bay. We recommend that you book a place right in the middle of town if you are after somewhere inside the Byron town. We are 30mins leisurely walk/7mins car ride away from the town itself. Self-contained flat with a good-sized kitchen, sleeps 4 comfortably, but able to fit 5 people.

Rain Forest Retreat - 5 min from CBD

Quaint, private, self-contained cottage (studio) located on 5 acres. Just one other house on property (that my husband and I live in) which is barely in view. The property is an oasis of peace and tranquility, providing a welcome retreat after a day at the beach and only a very short drive to the CBD. Birds are always singing and wallabies often visit at dawn and dusk. No suitable for small children. Pets considered on a case by case basis. No parties.

Garry was a wonderful host - so welcoming, very prompt with communication and just a lovely person to talk with. We both shared a love for nature and had a great chat about his family property and all the flora and fauna species within his property. I found the place so beautiful- the views, the peaceful location and just such gorgeous surroundings. The room had everything I needed and I loved relaxing in the hammock to watch the sunset. The outdoor shower was stunning and it was so magical to admire the beautiful plants as I showered. The place was easy to get to and I had no trouble accessing the property in my little Yaris 2WD. I wish I got to stay longer than 1 night, but I had a beautiful stay and left feeling very relaxed. I appreciated that Garry had breakfast supplies, coffee, 3 types of milk and home grown fruit etc as a lot of Airbnb's don't provide this anymore. I hope to return to this little slice of paradise some day soon! Genuine nature lovers will love this place!!
