Beachfront holiday rental in Slaughter Beach

The apartment is beautiful, very comfortable, and fully equipped with everything you need for a great beach vacation. We had a lovely stay and really enjoyed the space.

We had a lovely time at this bayfront home! The views from the balconies were amazing. The house was very very clean and had everything we needed. Host answered our questions and had helpful communications. We hope to visit again soon!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Liz’s place for a long weekend! We stayed with 3 small dogs who ran laps around the huge fully fenced in yard all weekend long; Only thing to note is there is not direct access to the backyard from the house, just a few small steps from the side door to the fence.. wasn’t a problem for us, our dogs learned quickly! The neighborhood is quiet and while the beach on the bay isn’t exactly for lounging, it was a quick walk from the house and was perfect for morning & evening walks! It was amazing to see all of the horseshoe crabs. The beaches of Cape May are a quick 20 minute drive. Liz provided an extensive list of recommendations prior to our arrival which made it easy to plan ahead. We had some rain and wind during our stay but the house was cozy for when we weren’t out & about! The beds were comfortable. Highly recommend this stay!

There are many nice features about the rental. Being by the Beach, the living spaces are on the second and third floor, so the dumbwaiter is helpful to transfer your luggage items to the top floors. With board games, bumper pool, shuffle board, arcade, 2 TV areas, large dining table and roof deck, there is plenty of entertainment in the house and plenty of nooks for everyone to occupy. All the bathrooms are inside the bedrooms except one. Roof deck has a great view of sunrise and sunset. On the ground floor, there are beach chairs, wagon, and kayaks available. We were there for Memorial weekend and horseshoe crabs were supposed to be beaching to mate at high tide, but unfortunately we didn't catch them at the right time. We still saw plenty of crabs and collected plenty of shells. The beach access is easy and feels so private. we love being away from the crowd. Rehoboth, Lewey, and Cape Henlopen state Park are only a short drive away for half day excursions. We all loved this trip!

Beautiful spot! Great location, close to all the happenings of Ocean City, but peaceful and quiet at the house…perfect set up. Great neighborhood. The house is beautiful, all the beds very comfortable. The back deck is gorgeous, thoroughly enjoyed that space and taking the kayaks out on the canal! It’s worth bringing your own linens and towels, we packed everything into a large tote and it worked out perfectly. Very responsive and friendly host! We had a great time here and plan to return. Highly recommend!

My wife and I came to Cape May for a quick weekend getaway and got exactly what we were looking for in this place. As close to the beach as you can get, very walkable to bars and restaurants. Exactly what we were looking for, and getting in and out was super easy

Great place, spacious, great hosts, super neighbors. This is a private beach, no parking or access for public, so this is an exclusive place and well worth it.

Umi and Bill were wonderful hosts. Everything was exactly as described, great communication, very clear instructions, lots of recommendations, a full book layed out very clearly with sections of anything you would want to know about the area, what to do, restaurants they recommended. The unit was pristine, had everything we could have needed & then some and offered an amazing view of the ocean. I wouldn't hesitate to stay at any of Umi and Bill's properties in the future and I look forward to staying with them again!

From check in to check out we had a great experience The house was very clean, and just overall a really comfortable place to stay. Diana was a very great host.. if you're wondering whether you should stay here, you should! I had a couple questions and the host was very helpful and quick with helping me get it fixed. Would definitely stay here again. My family and I can’t thank you enough for letting us stay in your place! We definitely recommend it!

Great stay with family. The kids loved the pool in the backyard. Place was well set up for two adults and three children between 8-11. Location is just off the bay beach and the sunset views were amazing.

Condo was exactly as described! Amazing oceanfront view! I was also impressed with how much room there was. It was cruiser week so it was a tad bit noisy at night, but other than that and the fact we couldn’t stay longer, we had a wonderful time and enjoyed our stay!

Adam was a great host, answered all questions we had in a timely manner and went above and beyond to check in to make sure we were settling in and enjoying our stay. Our daughter loved the extra amenities of toys and the bunk beds. This home provided beautiful views of the sunrise on the beach and an excellent view of the sunset on the bay. We are already planning our next stay.

By far the best place we’ve ever stayed! Teresa was amazing at communicating from the moment we booked, during, and after our stay at her beautiful bayside cottage on Arbor Road. The moment we walked through the door, we felt at home and at peace. The decor was amazing! Relaxing natural wood tones filled the space with a mix of new and gorgeous vintage pieces and artwork. The space was cozy yet super spacious. Perfect for our family! Outside the house was a convenient outdoor shower and patio space where we grilled and cooked s’mores. Every morning we walked to the bay which was basically like our own private beach steps away. In the evening we drove into nearby Cape May and Wildwood Crest for dinner and shopping which was less than a 10 min drive away. We were so comfortable at the home, that we really did not want to leave to go anywhere. It was absolutely so cozy and comfortable. Thanks so much to Teresa for making our stay so ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! We will hopefully be back soon! xo

Effortless beach week. So grateful NOT to have to deal with toxic air-fresheners, dirty dishes, light pollution, poorly chosen furniture, buying supplies, funny smells, crappy blinds, clutter... This condo is superior to many other AirBNB we have rented. Absolutely NOTHING was worrisome. Plumbing in tip-top shape, gorgeous bedding. Kitchen very well stocked (we actually cook most of our meals.) Detergent provided and plentiful. Not a speck of dirt or grime anywhere. This level of excellence is rare. The view is tremendous, and beach access is easy. Parking, elevator, luggage carts - all easy. The price is quite high, but we decided it's worth the attention to detail that is given to this property. We already booked for next year, and hopefully by then the building renovations will be complete. Highly recommend this quiet, spacious, extremely private unit at Marigot. Thanks Elysian.

Bob and Kathy were great hosts. The place was spotless and well maintained. They even left us little welcome gifts, which was a really nice touch. The house was a very quick drive to the center of Cape May. You could also easily walk to the beach. Communication with Bob and Kathy was quick and the check in and check out process was super easy. They also made it easy for us to extend our stay for one night. Would love to stay here again!

The location of Haley & Mike's townhouse is perfect. It gives you walk out access to a beautiful wide private beach. There are stunning views of the ocean and sky from the main living space and 2 of the bedrooms. Coffee or cocktails on the screened in porch watching the dolphins is hard to beat! My husband and I traveled with our 2 adult daughters and the accommodations met all of our needs. The main living space has a big comfy couch and plenty of seating plus a big screen tv and a large table that was perfect for meals or card games. The kitchen is well equipped and we took advantage of the gas grill to make dinner one night. There are loads of beach chairs, umbrellas and even tennis balls and racquets for the courts right across the street. Haley and Mike were very responsive hosts. We appreciated their golf, mini golf and dining recommendations. Hope to be able to come back sometime soon.

Our stay was perfect! We had never been to the area before and were looking for a quiet stay with a less crowded beach, but still drivable to other towns and things to do. This location is perfect with a very short walk to the beach and local store. We appreciated the availability of beach chairs and umbrella. We would love to come back!

We absolutely loved or stay as we were in town for our son’s graduation from Coast Guard bootcamp. It housed 5 adults very comfortably and the outdoor area was so relaxing, quiet and private. The home was gorgeous and it was clean and fresh! ! Megan was VERY responsive to the couple of questions that I did have and that was much appreciated! I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Enjoyed a lovely, week-long stay at this well-appointed cottage in Cape May Point. It was a perfect fit for me, my husband, and our almost one-year-old. Leslie was a thoughtful and responsive host who provided everything we needed to feel right at home. Pearl Beach was just a short walk away—peaceful, uncrowded, and full of dolphin sightings! We also enjoyed being walking distance to the lighthouse and nearby nature trails, which offered a quiet, scenic break from the beach. The Lighthouse Cottage is a true gem. Highly recommend!

My family and I stayed for 5 days and 4 nights. It was gorgeous property, with everything that we needed and more. The hosts instructions were very thorough and answered questions that I didn’t even know I had yet! They were proactive with their communication and touched base before we left for vacation and wished us safe travels. The views were breathtaking. The property was bright, clean and organized. We felt right at home. My only regret is that we weren’t able to stay longer.

Edward Joseph's property was beautiful and truly helped my wife and I enjoy our anniversary. We might not have brought our dog had we known the cost upfront, inability for her to use the furniture or that neighbors would rat on my wife because our dog peed on her overgrown grass.

This place was great!! Great quiet town. The views are beautiful from the decks of the house. We had a great time and a wonderful stay.

My family and I rented this as a post-holiday getaway and it was perfect. Comfortable living space that allowed family to gather and offered privacy for my adult and nearly adult sons. The kitchen was well appointed with appliances and dishes. Front screened porch catches the morning sun and was warm enough to sit on during the mild winter days and a great spot to people watch as people walked to the public beach access. Very quiet and restful, easy beach access and water and sanctuary views. Would definitely consider renting again!
