This unique place has a style all its own. This is an old cabin we have decided to let other people enjoy how unique this place is. It’s back to the basics in a not so basic way. You’ll come here to detach from all the noise and just enjoy the peacefulness of the beautiful backyard, grill hang out by the fire pit, eat dinner outside on the covered deck. The propane grill features a side burner to cook outside as well as grilling a couple of steaks. The inside has been tastefully updated.

Cindi was a wonderful host! We enjoyed our stay to the max. John also deserves 5 stars as he was just as great! There is so much space for our family. Big beautiful home. Enjoyed a wonderful Father’s Day weekend just hanging out and fishing at Palestine Lake. I loved it was secluded and the views were astonishing. Overall, a really great place to- despite the massive rainfall that made me dock unusable the last two days. The giant windows overlooking the water were gorgeous and the air conditioning was ice cold! The master bed was pretty hard and the pillows were a little flat. We ended up having to grab a mattress topper and some pillows from Walmart after the first night. But the kids loved it and it was plenty of space for us!

Sitting around the campfire was so relaxing and waking up to the view of the lake was so relaxing! Neighbors were amazing and very friendly!!! Had everything you needed. Including a washer and dryer was a plus!!! We’ll be back to stay!!!

We really enjoyed our stay! Our family has property on Lake Palestine right around the corner to visit with family during the day. It was very convenient and comfortable to come to each night for a peaceful night. I really like the natural products provided for us - hand soap, lotion and cleaning spray. Our host responded quickly to some minor needs. We plan to stay here next time we are in the area.

Kevin and Debra were super accommodating and were very responsive! They even supplied us with a pack and play for our 6 month old so it would be one less thing for us to pack. We enjoyed our stay at there house and will book with them again down the line for our next lake trip

Always a peaceful stay here, with excellent fishing! The house itself is comfortable, but there are some maintenance things that have been left undone (broken back screen door, screening needs replacement on screened in porch, under microwave light needs replaced, etc). We know it's hard keeping up with a house though! Love this little place and just want it to stay nice!

Our family had a wonderful time at this lake house. Very clean and stocked with everything we needed for our stay. My only complaint would be there is not a dishwasher. Everything else was perfect. The neighbor dog that came to visit was a plus. Everyone loved playing with him very sweet and friendly. Great vibes at this location would definitely stay again!
