A place to relax in winter in front of the gas stove with a beautiful view of the Otonabee River. In summer enjoy a swim or a paddle on on the river with one of our two kayaks. The kayaks are available between May 1st & October 1st as long as the river conditions are acceptable. Enjoy supper prepared using the fully equipped kitchen overlooking the river. Absolutely beautiful location with stunning lake view. This is a lovely lakeside cottage that is perfect for taking a kayak or canoe into the calm waters of lake Chemong just outside of Peterborough. Swimming off the dock might be a little challenging due to the fact its at south end of the bay and weeds are high, but a 10 minute drive to Jones Beach is a fantastic way to spend an afternoon! A bit further up is the village of Lakefield, which is a charming town that also has a fantastic family friendly beach with all the facilities. All in all, a lovely little cottage with a fantastic deck, tiki bar and dock with a fire pit. I'd highly recommended this as a beautiful lakeside cottage for a relaxing time!

Wow !!— what a stunning place. Even with rain and wind the first couple of days, this home was the perfect setting to relax, recharge, and make some amazing memories. Cozy, beautifully maintained, and stocked with everything we needed — you could tell how much care Josh and Cerise put into every detail. And speaking of hosts , I just say, they were incredible. Quick to respond, always willing to help, and genuinely kind people. From the moment we arrived to the (super easy) check-out, everything felt effortless and welcoming. We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Rain or shine, this place delivers — and we’ll definitely be coming back. Thank you!!!!!

Murray and Heather’s place was ideally located - walkable from downtown and a short drive to Trent where our son was convocating. The rooms and linens were spotless and the beds comfortable. The only drawback if you have hip or knee problems was the steep stairs up to the rooms. Otherwise it was just what we needed at a very reasonable price. We would stay there again.

Was looking for a peaceful quiet day away from city and this Airbnb was perfect. The dome had all facilities in the listing, ac/heat, wifi and board games. Bashir was great and responded quickly to questions. The sheep and chickens were great edition too. Recommend!
