#1 Teepees by the River - Running Horse

This private and secluded teepee is located on 16 private acres along the Middle Fork of the Payette River in Garden Valley, Idaho just an hour and fifteen minutes from Boise. Our teepees are approximately 225 sq. ft. and can accommodate up to 6 people comfortably. There are a maximum of 10 Teepees on the premises. There three chemical toilets conveniently located throughout the campground. Each teepee site has its own solar shower, mounted cold water shower and a mirror. You are required to bring your own camping gear; cookware, eating utensils, sleeping bags, etc... Each teepee site is outfitted with firepit, grill grate, picnic bench, log benches, hammock, 2 burner propane camp stove, hibachi grill and wash basins for dishes. Guests sit and relax while enjoying the sounds of nature. In the evenings, glampers can relax around the fire pit while cooking up some s'mores, the perfect way to relax at the end of a full and busy day of hiking and exploring the surrounding area. This secluded teepee provides basic amenities for those who want a minimalistic weekend in nature. Bring your own camping gear and sleeping accommodations. There is no electricity, but solar lighting and oil lamps provide all the ambient glow that guests need. Wi-Fi is available at the host's residence, but due to the secluded nature of the rental, it is limited. Traders Outpost has four (4) separate tipi's available for rent. Each tipi has tent space available nearby for $10/night per tent. Onsite bathroom and showers available. Towels and washcloths provided. Extra porta-potties are provided during peak season. Tipi's are equipped with a heater, a fan and a lamp (110 & 30 Amp). Lava Family Inn Annex # 8

Native Home # 8 is located North of Lish Road. It is the far north native home. Parties and events are not allowed. The porta potty and washing station are close to these homes. The homes are over looking valley, with amazing sunset views of the west mountains. We do allow pets, there is a $20/deposit/stay. If no sign of pet on cots, and surrounding areas we will return $10.

Youโ€™ll love this place, the comfy bed, coziness, & just being in a Tipi. There is a kitchen, with a stove, fridge & cooking supplies, ....french press for making coffee. There is an outhouse with a compostable toilet, sink with hot h20, an outside shower with hot H20, a lounging area with umbrella. A fantastic place to spend the night.
