Stand alone, wild, off-grid woodland pod

300 yards walk across the fields and over 2 stiles, from the car parking area, totally off-grid camping pod, with solar panel for lighting and USB phone charging, a composting loo and gas shower. Situated in a stunning bluebell wood, with breathtaking views of Cheviot, Simonside and the Coquet Valley. The Pod stands alone, with just the abundant wildlife to share the woods with. The pod is very basic with no heating, a 2-ring gas hob and small sink, and a fire pit area with fallen wood for fuel.

Alnwick Glamping Pods

This stylish Pod is perfectly positioned above Edlingham Vale, with the Simonside hills beyond. Deep in the heart of North Northumberland, amenities in Alnwick and activities are just a 10 minute drive away. Next to the Pod, there is parking for 2 cars. Our Pod overlooks the hilltop Farm Steading of Overthwarts, giving panoramic views of the countryside. With your own private gated entrance, you can come and go as you please or enjoy the views from the comfort of the wood fired Kirami hot tub.

Nearest pub 5 miles, restaurant 5 miles, shop 5 miles. Public transport (bus) 2 miles away.

Alnmouth train station is only a 5 minute drive. From here you can travel directly to Edinburgh in 1 hour. The studio features an open plan sleeping/ living area with a kitchen.

The Coach House at Lynnholm

The Coach House provides secluded accommodation on a West facing hillside with lovely views of the Cheviot Hills. Set in a very quiet location on the edge of the moors, ideal for walking, cycling, bird watching, castles, fishing, touring or just chilling. The cottage has an enclosed garden and large sundecks where you can eat, drink and even cook (barbeque chiminea) outside and watch the sun go down over the distant horizons of the Cheviots and the Otterburn ranges. A self catering holiday home a stone's throw away from the River Coquet in the beautiful Village of Rothbury. Built of natural sandstone by Lord Armstrong of the famous Cragside Estates in the 1870's, Ethie Lodge sleeps up to four people in comfort with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. It is featured in the Village trail leaflet as 'state of the art' workers' housing of the time! Tucked away from the Village centre down a quiet private path Ethie Lodge is deceptively spacious.
