Another outstanding stay at Pete and Sandy’s, there is nothing better than the heater on making the place very welcoming on a cold winters night, I call it The Langham of f the Upper Murray, with a better view!

You should definitely book Kerri’s place if you come to visit the snowy mountains & surrounding towns, compared with the overdeveloped Thredbo resort Corryong is probably a better place to hide from city life. Her place was so quiet and peaceful.

We had a fantastic stay in Crackenback at the cottage - the kitchen had everything we needed and lots of space for the whole family. The outlook over the fields was amazing with horses, kangaroos and deer to keep us all entertained. The location was great to explore the surrounding area and we especially enjoyed the Wild Brumby distillery just a few minutes away. The only downside was the proximity of the separate studio which meant we could hear everything from the family of 3 staying there with two very large dogs.

Our cottage was cozy, comfortable, clean, and had great views of the river. We really enjoyed the getaway because of being surrounded by nature and access to the river in front of our cottage. It was a really great spot to swim and take our fur baby there to play and swim, she loved it too. Big thanks to the hosts, we hope to come back and will definitely recommend this place to others who are headed this way.

The shearer’s quarters were amazing! We had a large group of adults with some young kids as well. It was the perfect accommodation for us. Rachel’s instructions were great but you can also easily enter “Bongongo Shearer’s Huts” and it will take you right to the destination. Paul was fabulous and even let the kids check out the sheep and watch the shearing process. He took time to tell us all about it and their farm. He even let some of the adults have a crack at shearing. We will definitely be back.

Absolutely loved our stay at Russ’ beautiful, homely homestead. It had everything we needed - comfortable, well-equipped, and full of charm. The location was spectacular, tucked away in nature - the perfect spot to take in the sunrise or relax after a day of hiking. We especially loved the open living space with its cosy fireplace and kitchen area - it made it so easy to stay social while cooking dinner and winding down. Would definitely come back!

Sanja’s place is the most perfect escape! Super comfy bed and well equipped with everything you could possibly need, including the most generous package of food supplies I’ve ever come across in an airbnb (so very handy as it’s a bit of a drive to the nearest shop!). Sitting in the beautiful warm spa watching the kangaroos hop around on the hill and listening to the creek was utter bliss! The rail trail from Tumbarumba to Rosewood was a fabulous way to spend an afternoon - the hamburgers at Rosewood Railway cafe are absolutely delicious (and e-bike hire super easy with rideTumba). Highly recommend Sanjas place - it’s an amazing spot to escape the world, rest and recharge!

This is a beautiful, serene place with an equally responsive and fantastic host. Perfect for a getaway. Very clean and well-maintained property, and Brooke was very communicative and proactive, and we will definitely be back soon!

Beautiful apartment in Jindabyne, clean with all the amenities needed for an enjoyable stay. Jess was extremely receptive and communicated efficiently. Highly recommended.

Perfect place to stay if you want to ride Tumbarumba - bikes safe on the cars … beautiful surrounds - lovely cabin

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Monika's Moonbah Escapez Wombat Cottage. Directions were so clear, we had absolutely no trouble finding the place. I do recommend arriving in daylight hours as the entryway is difficult to see at night, but easy enough to find with maps! The location is stunning, the home overlooks a beautiful creek and only the peaceful sounds of nature can be heard. Monika was very responsive to messages and answered any questions we had. Self check in was very easy. A 10-15 minute drive to Jindabyne, where there are plenty of things to see and do. The house itself was so cosy and romantic, especially with the fire-pit and outdoor tub. We absolutely loved our time here and wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you for having us Monika!

We had a great time staying there. Its a property with peaceful environmanet and beautiful surrounding. Its a great place to spend time with your friends and families.

Jess is a friendly and responsive host and the place is very lovely and spacious for large group of people. This private premises is super photogenic, with beautiful views and surroundings including a small lake. We were thrilled to see a number of kangaroos and wildlife along the driveway of the house. It feels like a free safari tour. On our last day, it was a bit snowy and foggy and the place becomes quite magical. We can’t imagine how beautiful it would be if the place is covered in snow more. Overall, very happy and enjoyable stay. We would definitely love to come back again.☺️

Jess was a great host, very friendly and quick to respond. We stayed in the South Apartment which was clean and had everything needed to make our stay comfortable. Our huskies loved playing with Jess’ dog!

We stop at Ruth's place on our road trip from Sydney to Melbourn. We were very impressed with how clean the cottage is. The cottage is well designed for a big group with in-suite in each bedroom and a big living area. There are also a lot of things to do at the farm. Highly recommended for family travel with children.

We loved our stay at Cerovo House. It was super spacious, clean and very comfortable. The home catered for all of our needs and more! Grace was very easy to communicate with and was very accomodating. We hope to come back next year!

Luxurious and beautiful accommodation in peaceful surroundings. The Nest was extremely clean and had everything we needed- well stocked kitchen, extremely comfortable bed, pristine bathroom and cosy living room. Jill is an excellent host; friendly, responsive, flexible and provided lots of helpful information. Will be staying here again!

What a view! Such a special place with incredible surroundings. The cabins are very new and well equipped with lots of thoughtful additions. A place to truly relax and enjoy the beautiful countryside. Anne was so helpful and welcoming! Hopefully we’ll be back :)

We had a beautiful stay at Windy Fig Farm , fantastic hosts Glenn & Kerrie and very stunning place! We enjoyed the views, wonderful peacefulness and the spa was amazing… We were lucky enough to wake up to the land covered with snow and have the full experience, there was freshly baked loaf of bread which was fluffy and lovely! I’m looking forward to staying again, thank you again

A great spot for a family getaway. House was clean and well appointed and had great, comfortable living area for relaxing together (the weather was pretty bad so we spent quite a lot of time indoors).
