Wc ja juokseva vesi löytyy päärakennuksesta. Remontoitu puusauna ja loivasti syvenevä ranta sopivat perheille. Grilli, muurikka, sähkösavustin, soutuvene ja kalastusvälineet täydentävät varustelua. 1960-luvulla valmistunut päämökki on ollut talvisin kylmillään, joten perinteikäs mökin tuoksu ja tunnelma kuuluvat asiaan.

Kesäaikaan näet ikkunoista vehreitä vaahteroita ja pihatammen oksat, talvella taas läheisen Jyväsjärven jää siintää horisontissa. Majoittujana saat olla omassa rauhassa pienen talon (40m²) suojissa. Moottoritieltä pääset autolla muutamassa minuutissa kohteeseemme, meiltä on 3,5 km Jyväskylän keskustaan.

This house on the island of Muuratsalo is a great location to relax and enjoy lake Päijänne or to explore this area of outstanding natural beauty and cultural heritage. Muuratsalo has several nature trails through the forest, with ice age boulders scattered over the hills.
