Quiet oasis near Basel

Quiet accommodation with direct transport links to Basel (18 minutes by tram from Basel SBB). The village center with many shopping opportunities is a 3-minute walk away. Very quiet location despite being close to the city. The property is adjacent to our house, the access is through the garden. The room can be heated by a wood-burning stove. We are a family of four with a very trusting Cocker Spaniel and 3 chickens. Wi-Fi is only usable in the garden (room walls are too thick)

In the beautiful Thal Nature Park, in a quiet location, you will find your accommodation in our garden. The garden house is equipped with a generous bed (160 × 200 cm), with table and corner bench as well as camping kitchen with water, fridge, stove for small meals, cupboard, as well as desk and chair. Toilet, shower and sauna are located in the main house (Distance 20 m) In addition, the main house has a health room: Here you can book massage offers. Dogs are welcome.

Enjoy activities such as alpaca trekking, river boating, biking, jogging, hiking and free parking out front.

In addition to the lakes, the Swiss Jura, cities such as Interlaken (1 hour), Bern (30 minutes), Lucerne (1.25 hours), Rheinfall (2 hours), Basel (1.25 hours), Montreux (1.25 hours) invite you to explore. The garden with 2 seats, including a fireplace, invites you to linger and play (table tennis, vehicles, foosball, etc.). On cooler days, a Swedish oven creates a wonderful atmosphere.

This 3rd floor basic apartment has 3 bedrooms with double beds and a bathroom with shower. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with beautiful views. There are currently no cooking facilities available in the apartment. It's located 15 min. from Basel with public transportation. The bus station is directly next to the house. From the ringing bells of the churches to the Goetheanum or old castle/ruins on the hill, Dornach is waiting for you.

The living room has a Swedish stove. The garden has a barbecue and seating area.
