Holiday rentals with a kayak in Somerset County

This is really a beautiful house, with a great location and with lovely views of the water, fully outfitted, comfortable beds, and lots of special spaces to relax. The perfect place for a holiday weekend for us and our friends. Stephen has thought the whole thing through. We had a lovely time and would return any time.

This beautiful and spacious private waterfront home was perfect for our family. The dock access to the bay was a huge hit as the grandchildren swam and kayaked, while I enjoyed fishing. Look forward to returning soon to enjoy crabbing and boating from the dock, as well. The 360 views were absolutely spectacular. Watching the sunset over the bay on the screened-in porch was so relaxing. We also enjoyed using the fire pit in the evenings. Just around the corner, Roger Dize seafood, had meaty crabs available fresh from the boat. The house had everything we needed. The updated kitchen was fully stocked. Plenty of bedrooms. Very comfortable beds. Family board games. The whole family, 3 generations, enjoyed this wonderful stay. Shannon is a wonderful host! We will definitely come back to this beautiful home!

The location was very beautiful. It fit our family of 6 comfortably. I appreciate the air conditioning and how cool it felt from the hot temps outside. There was lots of wood already available to make a fire, hot tub was ready to use, lots of available items already in the house for use. Anything you could want or need, she basically had. It’s also accessible to day trips near by - about an hour or so to the beaches. Very secluded and peaceful.

Our group of eight had a very lovely weekend. It is an older house with a few quirks here and there but was overall clean and comfortable in a terrific remote setting. Good kitchen with an amazing view of the water. The owner Marc was extremely responsive and accommodating, and gave us several suggestions for things to do in the area.

This home was the ideal setting for our bachelorette getaway. We thoroughly enjoyed the serene waterfront, and having access to the kayaks added a unique touch to our stay. The living room, with its expansive and open layout, was perfect for gathering and enjoying board games together. Thank you for the warm hospitality and for sharing your beautiful home with us!

We had a great time in Marion Station. Cheryl was incredibly responsive and the Airbnb was absolutely beautiful! Would recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful, scenic time with opportunities for adventure. :)

We all really enjoyed our stay. We had a great time making and eating our meals, sitting on the various porches watching the creek and all the birds, exploring the grounds, and using the canoe. The peace of the place was wonderful. We especially enjoyed watching the two ospreys nesting across the creek. Allysin stopped by to check on us and was very friendly and welcoming. She was very appreciative of the feedback we provided about a relatively minor issue with the water pressure on the main floor. If we visit the area again, we will definitely consider staying again.

We really enjoyed our stay here! The cabin is right on the water and there are kayaks on site that you can use. The cabin was very clean and the inside was nicely decorated. The kitchen was also well stocked with silverware and cooking supplies which was nice since there are not many restaurants in the area. The only down side were the mosquitos and flies but they do provide bug spray for this. We would definitely stay here again!!

Janet has a unique property considering the destination is on an island... it has it's own dock which affords guests the ultimate in flexibility. It was the main reason we elected to overnight there. My son and I only had one night for the fishing trip in our own boat over father's day weekend so it was not a deal-breaker we had to book 2 nights. The simplicity of motoring up after a day on the water with all of our gear and the convenience for being up early to catch the right tide was a perfect fit. Wish we had 2 nights to stay and have better luck with the weather... and the fish, but we will be back. Thanks Janet!

We had a wonderful stay at the house, which was both clean and amazing. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and I particularly enjoyed the outdoor shower. The home was well-equipped with everything we needed, making our experience hassle-free. We spent enjoyable moments crabbing on the pier, and we found that everyone we encountered on the island was friendly and laid-back.

Our family had such a lovely vacation in a great location. We made so many memories and enjoyed the beach and water everyday. Chelsea was a very responsive and accommodating host. So happy to have chosen their place for our vacation. The only draw back was the bugs but we were fully aware that they would be there as it was made very clear in the listing and in the reviews and it wouldn’t have changed our minds and we would love to visit again.

Can’t beat the views. It’s a quick drive into town. There is a great take out seafood restaurant!

Our third stay at Rumbley Cottage was perfect, as usual and our cousins from Germany were especially delighted to have found themselves in such a beautiful oasis of nature and peace and comfort.
