The area offers lovely walks directly from our garden up into the hills at High Ham or down on to The Levels and the river Carey.

Ancient beech, ash and oak woodland rise to the Iron Age fort on Danesborough hill. Whortleberries abound in Summer on the bracken and heather covered slopes.
