Farmstay holiday rentals in Sonoma County

We were two couples from the Bay Area. It was perfect for the four of us. Beautifully decorated, comfortable furniture and comfortable beds. Plenty of drawer space in bedrooms and closets for our cloths and things. Well equipped kitchen. Lovely outdoor space. Laura was very available for any questions. Check in and check out were very easy. We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend this place!

We absolutely loved our stay at the cottage! The hosts, Lynn and John, were friendly and welcoming. We brought our baby and they left out a booster seat, child plates/bowls, toys, and made up the crib for him! We were able to do a barrel tasting, which was fantastic! We loved the hot tub and the garden. Wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the corn hole and fire pit! Will have to come back!

Mike's place was everything we were expecting and more! We were granted an early check-in as we had to attend a wedding hours after arriving and Mike's place couldn't have been easier to settle into and get going. Everything in this house is very thoughtfully done and blew us away! Location is stunning and very private and also very close to town + wineries / restaurants all around. Would highly recommend and hope to be back!

Eliza's place was wonderful for us (two parents and a 4 month old baby) for a weekend - we had everything we needed and it was incredibly easy to check in and out. Eliza and her family were there and great to spend time with, but we also felt we had space to ourselves to rest and relax. We will hopefully be back!

We stayed at Erin's wine country cottage for a few days as our "home base" while in town for the Food & Wine Event. Their studio unit cottage was cozy, and welcoming. We ate out and didn't use kitchenette beyond making coffee, but I noticed that it looked well stocked! The bed was comfy, which made for good sleep at night. The cottage location is great as it's close to the freeway yet still in a quiet, rural setting next to a vineyard, and just about a mile or so from downtown (we walked to town every day). Erin (& Tom) are both exceptional hosts. They're friendly, helpful, and have great recommendations for restaurants & wineries. Can't forget Hurley the lab... he's super friendly too!

Absolutely wonderful place, the photos don't do it justice. You can tell that this is not just a vacation rental as a lot of love and care has gone into the home and it has everything you could need to make your stay comfortable and relaxing. Communication was always quick, friendly and proactive. Would love to visit again one day!

Our stay was lovely! The beds and linens were comfortable and the rooms were quiet. The entire home was well stocked and it felt like a second personal home in terms of the quality of items - sharp knives, well stocked pantry for cooking basics, foil, etc. We brought two dogs and it was a paradise for them. The outdoor area is truly magical. The fire pit is great, the downstairs dog shower is handy, and the landscaping is sublime.

I loved this place. It was beautifully decorated and had amazing views. The pool was an added benefit on hot days! It’s somewhat small for a group because it only has one bedroom but still worth the experience.

Kelly's place was beautiful and spotless and exactly as pictured. She was responsive and communicated well. Unfortunately, we did not understand the implications of staying on a working organic vineyard, especially during spring. For the 3 days we were there, many ranch hands(8-10) and 2 tractors worked nonstop from 7am -4pm which produced continual noise and lack of privacy. Again, this was our mistake, not Kelly's.

This was one of my favorite Airbnb's of all time !! The location is perfect - serene, private, and quiet all while being just around the corner from tons of wineries and Healdsburg square. The space is so clean, spacious, and has amazing natural light. We spent lots of time on the deck overlooking the wineries and beautiful trees. The house was stocked with everything you might need along with a beautiful wine bar with glasses, decanter, and more :) This was a family trip with me and my husband and my parents. Both couples had our own bedroom and bathroom - and lots of space to gather. Will fore sure be recommending and coming back when in the area!

Our family of 4 had such a lovely stay. My city kids (7 and 3) loved all the outdoor space to run around and especially seeing all the animals (horses, goats, alpacas, sheep, a neighborhood cat, rabbits, quail, lizards...!). Of course a huge highlight was the swimming pool, great temperature, and nice that the kids could stand on the shallow side/steps (and a great kid-safe fence around it). The house itself was lovely, a perfect size for us, with lots of thoughtful touches. Also nice peaceful location but an easy drive to restaurants, Sonoma Square, Traintown, etc. And great communication from Vi. We hope to be back!

We had a great time here! It was in such a beautiful and quiet location which really helped us have such a relaxing time. Everything in the house was very clean, the beds were comfy, and our favorite feature was the goats! I would definitely stay here again. Thanks, Brenda!

We had 3 beautiful days at Mark’s place. We love Sea Ranch and go often, and it’s always amazing, but Mark’s place made the experience even more incredible. Huge kitchen with everything you need, a calm space, all the books… it was the best! We made beautiful memories with our family.

This was a wonderful little space in the hills near Santa Rosa! Very cute place! We would stay again!

This a beautiful house and a perfect Airbnb stay. We appreciated the great care given to all the details at this house. Our family appreciated all the games to play, comfy nooks to relax in and the well stocked kitchen. We also enjoyed the numerous citrus trees loaded with fruit during our visit in June.

Located in a beautiful valley in the heart of West Marin lies Cow Track Ranch - a working cattle farm that’s in amongst the most beautiful scenery imaginable. The property is located 1.25 miles down an unpaved road which incidentally makes a great road for a jog or walk. The farm dogs are friendly. It’s very dark and quiet at night which is much appreciated. Recommendation to bring the food and drinks you need as there’s no grocery/restaurant immediately nearby. The property is well positioned between Novato, Petaluma, and Point Reyes. We loved every minute of our time on the ranch and look forward to our next stay!

This is the best condition we’ve experienced in an Airbnb property. Like new, comfortable, clean and nicely decorated No clutter. Very quiet surroundings with vineyard views. We were four adults for five days and found it perfect for our stay. Terrific access to Healdsburg, Russian River and Dry Creek Valleys. We’d go back anytime we can.

This was a great spot for our 48hrs in Sonoma. The cottage was perfect for four adults with a shared bathroom. Check in was simple, checkout was also simple. The cottage, as mentioned in previous reviews, is close to the main road but we weren’t bothered by the road noise. Comfy beds, plenty of towels, cute back patio area to sit and enjoy the complementary bottle of wine. Easy drive to anywhere you need to go.

Perfect size space for two couples, comfortably. Very close to Healdsburg and Dry Creek wineries. Easy to follow instructions and easy to find. Would recommend this property to anyone looking for a well-located hub to explore the area’s wineries and restaurants.

This cottage in the vineyard was a little gem that provided the most beautiful backyard space for hosting our friends and family who were visiting Sonoma to attend my daughter's wedding. The raised bed gardens and vineyards that literally surrounded us were so welcoming and comforting and drew us outside for most of our stay. The house itself gave all the comforts of home and conveniences you would expect, was clean, and, close to the town, which we walked to several times. The cottage gave us the experience we wanted when visiting Sonoma and we felt the charm, character and history as well as gracious and friendly people wherever we visited. The Casita was an added bonus space with privacy and was a perfect space for my daughter, and now, husband to stay. Thank you for making our time there a memorable one and for the experience that made us feel we were literally in another country.

The house was amazing. It was perfect as described and such an amazing find. We were so lucky to be able to stay in Christina's home. The location was also amazing as it is right on dry creek road and close to both downtown and all the wineries. Christina was incredible and super responsive. She really wanted to make sure that we had everything we needed for our stay and was very helpful. I highly recommend staying here. I wish we could have stayed longer.

Overall, very nice! My only real issue was the inflexability on the check out end of things. We had to leave a day earlier than planned, through no fault of our own. I tried for a late check out a day earlier (only 3 hours), to save some money of course. The response was, well you are booked until the 20th, so you can stay as long as you want on the 19th. I just felt that there could have been a little compromise, as people sometimes have to change plans due to circumstances beyond their control. Maybe a charge for staying later could have been offered, but I ended up paying for the entire last night without actually staying there. I have had similar situations over the years with other hosts, and they have been more than happy to compromise.

Beautiful house in a gorgeous location. Mid century modern, so cozy, feels like you stepped back in time. Beautifully decorated and very clean. My husband and I had a great weekend celebrating his birthday. It was a perfect relaxing getaway. The creek water was so clear and the view was beautiful while relaxing on the deck. We enjoyed the hot tub too, very relaxing. House is well stocked with the basic things you need. Very nice big shower with very hot water. The Zen garden is so beautiful too and all the huge trees everywhere was so mesmerizing.
