Wonderful stay, place is beautiful, clean and cozy. Sophie went out her way to make us feel welcome. 20 min away from downtown Victoria and close to a nice beach.

Excellent unit, clean and modern in a calming natural environs that provides the perfect escape from the bustle of the city. Our stay was fairly brief, though the host did a great job providing activities on-site and recommending others nearby. Instructions for check-in and check-out were clear, and assistance was readily available if we needed it. Highly recommend booking, that is if we haven’t booked it on our next visit to the island!

The log cabin was the perfect place for us to stay after an epic West Canada road trip. Quiet, comfortable, relaxing. Walkable to nearby supermarkets and places to eat. Great communication, checking in on us to make sure all was well. Would stay here again!

This was the second time we stayed at the Haidaway each stay was for a full month. Clearly we love it there, lovely accommodation in a super location. We did lots of hiking and sightseeing. Five stars all the way!

When we arrived Lois greeted us with a warm welcome! We felt comfortable right away. The house is beautiful and comes with everything you need to feel right at home. The property also has a gorgeous view of the mountains. We really enjoyed our stay. It was perfect.

This was one of the most beautiful and comfortable places we’ve stayed via Airbnb. The home is beautifully provisioned and the yard is fantastic. We loved sitting out back listening to the bubbling water and birds singing. The hosts were friendly and thoughtful. We would definitely choose again and highly recommend.

Our family of 8 felt right at home. Everyone having a king bed was very helpful. Kitchen was very well stocked for cooking. Sean answered back any inquiries quite quickly. We highly recommend Sean’s place.

We really loved the quietness and peacefulness of the place. The layout of the house was awesome. The entertainment was top notch. We even used the gym . I would definitely recommend this place if you are with a group of friends or family gathering!

Derek’s place was very clean and cozy. It was very welcoming and we felt like home when we stayed at his place. My family were very comfortable while staying there and Derek was also easy to communicate wiith. Overall we had a wonderful time.

Four of us from our family had a wonderful relaxing weekend staying at Wayne’s. The house is well equipped, comfortable, and has a wonderful view of the nearby bay. We would absolutely recommend it and hope to visit again!

The street was very quiet. I think there was only one or two other cabins that were being used that week, which means we had a very peaceful stay. We locked out it was also very sunny the entire week. The place was amazing with big windows, it was clean, bright and beautiful. Thank you very much Cheryl. We had a wonderful stay. Simply put ‘Rad Shack’ is a wonderful, little hidden gem. Madeleine/Kelly were tremendous hosts - communicating detailed instruction. Quaint, efficient layout of the space, private/peaceful property and surrounding area. Everything is thoughtfully curated including the path down to the beach, though it traverses some thick brush and at one point you must climb up creek bank about 5ft but there are big rocks and a tree stump to help you along. Believe me, it’s worth the 10-12min hike to the water. Kitchen includes oven w/3 burner stove, small bar fridge(no freezer), all dishes/bowls and cutlery, indoor space heater, plenty of lighting options and power outlets. Dinning table w/booth seating doubles as work space. Loft bed is sturdy if not a bit tricky to get up/down but there’s conveniently placed handles to grasp. Patio features a fire pit and bench seating. Wood and kindling provided. Private outdoor toilet and shower well stocked with toilet paper, shampoo/bath wash. You should book

Lily and Tommy are great hosts with a grimly golden retriever (Toby) that loves to play fetch. Fab art and very quiet space with quick access to all the delights Sooke has to offer. Very responsive— very delightful stay!

Richard and Rebecca's place was a peaceful oasis well off the main highway in Sooke. We loved seeing the chickens, deer and the cottontails. The place was impeccably clean and well designed.

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage! The apace was perfect for hosting a small gathering to celebrate our daughter’s university graduation. The outdoor garden was a beautiful setting. We will definitely come back again! Thank you for having us!

Brad and Doe’s place was nestled in the woods with treed surroundings. Appropriately named the Owl’s Nest. Responsive and friendly couple. Pristine in cleanliness. Cleanest Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in! Comfortable beds and kitchen had necessary basics for making coffee in the morning to breakfasts and dinners. BBQ worked great and had a window to see your food haha - never seen that before! Nice little outdoor patio. Large picture windows to see deer and even an eagle and let morning light in. Spacious shower. Truly a gem!!

We will definitely be back. Such a beautiful hidden gem. Stayed a night before hiking to Mystic beach. Roman was a wonderful host and we loved the ocean view, the sauna, the pond and the bonfire! Highly recommend!
