Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Oakwood Lodge is a converted barn on a working farm. It is set on the edge of wheat fields and nestled in amongst a woodland area. I do allow dogs, they are most welcome. The outside space is secure for them to roam freely. There’s no grass, only gravel out the front and Woodchip bark out the back. The back has been left as natural as possible. There’s some nettles and brambles to be aware of, I do trim them back so they shouldn’t be an issue.

We were lucky enough to be recommended by the Times Newspaper (September 2026) as a place to stay whilst walking the Serpent Trail, so whether you are looking for great walks, visiting friends or relatives, or just want to escape it all, we hope you will love this place as much as we do. The town of Haslemere itself is a 30 minute walk away.
