Holiday rentals with a fire pit in South Gloucestershire

Jerry and Jacqui made us feel so welcome for our weekend in Bristol for my brother’s wedding. The house is quirky but beautiful and well appointed, exactly as described. The location is amazing, a moments walk from the docks (M Shed, a plethora of great eateries and coffee shops). We particularly enjoyed breakfasts in the sun trap garden looking down on the water. Jerry made check in super easy and stayed to show us around, he’d even baked us a loaf of homemade sourdough! Thank you for a wonderful stay and a memorable weekend.

We loved everything about Trish’s house. It felt really spacious, was spotlessly clean and the garden was a lovely bonus (perfect for an evening glass of wine!). Trish has thought of everything and the instructions re check in, and use of the appliances were really clear. The local recommendations were appreciated - as were the “welcome”snacks and fizz 😊. We would not hesitate to stay again.

Richard and Jessica’s place was great! We were staying for a family weekend and the house was everything we needed - walking distance to where we were going and big enough for us to cook and eat together with a large garden and an incredible view. Jessica was so lovely, friendly and flexible when communicating with us before we got there and they worked around what suited us best for check in. The table tennis table was definitely an added plus for us and the large garden with outdoor seating was so lovely. Definitely recommend!

We had a great time staying at Canons Court, the house was even nicer than the photos. It's in a great location with lots to do nearby, and the recommendations were perfect and helped us to explore the area. We enjoyed spending time in the garden, and there's lot's of space inside as well.

We absolutely loved our stay at The Barn – it perfectly suited our requirements with four spacious bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, offering both comfort and privacy. The facilities were first class, and the scenic rural location was simply stunning – a true slice of the quintessential UK countryside. Louise and Dave were warm and welcoming hosts, ensuring everything ran smoothly. We only wish we could have stayed longer! An incredibly affordable accommodation option and an ideal choice for anyone seeking a relaxing rural retreat. Highly recommended.

Beautiful home, well equipped & lovely area. Lots to do, places to eat or to pop out for a drink. Hot tub is so relaxing. Julie is a great host, always responsive and so helpful. We really enjoyed our stay!

My fiancee and I stayed for 1 night to explore Bath and the surrounding areas. This accommodation had everything that we needed and more. We made use of the fire pit. The location was beautiful, peaceful and private. Perfect after a busy day exploring. The space was clean, comfortable and easy to find. The converted space is designed very nicely with character. We even have the same plates so it felt like a home from home. We would definitely recommend this lovely place to anyone looking for some serenity. I would mention that the drive may be a challenge if you have a low car - but easy enough to negotiate without scraping 😂 Lovely stay. Lovely trip! Thank you 😁

Ashley’s place is a top place three well packed room all with tv’s or a projector…nice bathroom nice shower..kitchen is massive with extra well over 65in tv in there…and the garden lovely mood setting lights bbq and the final piece a hot tub with a fire chimney right behind it so relaxing

My partner has an excellent stay here for work, the owners even moved him to a secondary location as this was booked for this week. Great communication, lovely home.

It is a very nice accommodation with fashionable decoration. The location is remote but the environment is peaceful, with fresh air.

Cosy, characterful place to stay with super and welcoming host hospitality in an ideal location for us to enjoy adventuring out for some lovely walks and close to all the amenities of Chepstow. Highly recommended!

A lovely flat with 2 good bathrooms and a sizeable kitchen. Great for a short stay in an excellent location an easy walk from Clifton Village.

Lovely place to stay, a 10 minutes drive down a small lane and you're surrounded by fields, beautiful sunrises. Very peaceful, never heard cars at night and rarely in the day. Cozy writing desk to get some work done. Philippa brought homemade cake and some good, such a nice gesture, makes you feel very welcome.

Lovely stay at Willow Warbler. The estate is beautiful & maintained to a high standard. Very peaceful. The apartment had everything we needed including extra touches like milk, travel cot, washing machine & dishwasher tablets, plenty of cooking equipment, tea bags, oil for cooking etc. There is a nice restaurant & pool on site. We didn’t use the gym as the opening hours weren’t early enough (10-5 so we were out for the day). We travelled with a 9 month old but there looked to be lots of things for older children such as soft play, water sports & play ground. Lots of bird watching to be done. Jane was very good at communicating with us & checking everything was ok. We used the apartment as a base to go out for the day such as to Oxford & Bourton but the apartment is very comfortable if you prefer chilling. Would recommend if you are looking for a quiet relaxed break.

Really lovely lodge right by a private lake, excellent location for some beautiful walks. Had such a peaceful time relaxing.

We had an amazing time away, the cabin was absolutely gorgeous and so peaceful. I don’t think pictures do it justice! Had a lovely evening sat by the fire pit, and we really hope to return soon! Louise and Kenton were friendly and responded to any messages quickly and the whole experience was so lovely I highly recommend!!

The hut was beautiful and the hot tub a thankful addition. Everything was very clean and comfortable. The use of space in the hut is quirky and well furnished. The kitchen had everything we needed including some small essentials. The bed was really comfy and the bedding was lovely and fresh. The bathroom was really super clean and had towels and loo roll. The immediate surroundings were beautiful. I loved sitting on the decking with swans walking past and a gorgeous Goose family on the lake. Or chilling in the hot tub while the man fished. Plenty of pubs and restaurants around or Dominos Deliver! Very relaxing break.

We only stayed two nights, but it was great. Quiet surroundings, beautiful nature all around and friendly people, that's what we needed. Thank you for the fresh eggs. If anyone is looking for a quiet place to relax, we recommend it. Thanks Marjorie and Tom.

Me and my girlfriend loved our stay in daisy lodge. Such a lovely place to stay feeling right at home. Not far from Abergavenny town which has a lovely high street. The lodge was as seen in the photos and even though we knew Claire and Justin were there when we needed, it was perfect and didn’t need any help. Highly recommend. Thanks guys!
