We stayed at Ruth’s Airbnb for 5 nights. It was the perfect stay for us as we were ‘working from home’ 2 days and with the workstation properly set up in the apartment, it really helps us to work efficiently. The apartment is well equipped with all the high technology features and essentials that you can think of. The location is superb as it is just right opposite of Canberra Centre shopping mall and steps away from best coffee in town called ‘Bedst’. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend anyone who’s visiting Canberra to stay here.

This was our second visit and We loved our stay! The cottage is so cozy and has so many fine details that make the stay so comfortable. The host was very responsive and also kind enough to give offer us an extra night since we arrived well past midnight. We would love to make this an annual visit if we can!

Photos don’t do this place justice!! We had the most amazing stay at platypus cottage. The facilities were perfect, very clean and good amount of cooking/ dining equipment. The location was amazing right on the river with privacy and lots of spots to go for a swim. We would highly recommend platypus cottage and are all already talking about when we can come back! Both hosts were incredibly warm, genuine, and friendly! We arrived quite late, but they still came to welcome us with their adorable dog. They even prepared some milk for us and gave us a detailed introduction to the house. The cottage felt like a peaceful retreat from the world—beautiful, quiet, and surrounded by nature. The stars at night were stunning, and in the morning, we woke up to the sight of little birds outside the window. Although it rained during our stay, it didn’t affect our joy and appreciation for this lovely place. We hope to come back again on a sunny day, and hopefully see these kind and wonderful hosts once more!

The photos don't do this place justice , it's beautiful and tranquil. Everything was nice and clean. The two extra bedrooms are external (just FYI) we didn't read the description properly as it was very last minute for my mum's funeral but we made it work. Fire by the river was amazing.

I had a very nice, quiet stay. The place is slightly tricky to find - you have to find the turn off the highway, open and close a farm gate, and take a long driveway, but it's far enough from the road to be very quiet. The house is very small (a converted shipping container), but comfortable for one person. The pantry and fridge were well stocked, with fresh eggs from the farm, milk, bread, cereal and coffee. I particularly enjoyed the open sky, with many stars to be seen on a clear night. I also liked the chickens and peacocks that roamed around the house, giving the front area a relaxing agrarian vibe. Overall, if you want a peaceful, quiet, low-stress space, so you can be away from people and alone with your thoughts, this is a pretty nice way to do it.

We were after a cozy weekend away in the Riverina/Snowys foothills and Sally’s place was exactly that. We knew this was a pretty location but we were surprised by just how lovely the space was. A lot of care and nice touches added to our experience. Bacon, eggs, sourdough bread, cake, plenty of wood for the fire, condiments and preserves were all there. The cabin overlooks the stream & hills, with plenty of cows around- as well as kangaroos, birdlife, etc. easy to access, the drive from the road was nothing to worry about for my little sedan. All in all, we had a lovely 2 days & weren’t wanting for anything, despite the cold & windy weather. Also, surprisingly cheap for the experience we had. No wifi or phone coverage, but I wanted that. Loved it, keen to book again.
