Bed and breakfast holiday rentals in South Haven Township

We had a wonderful stay! This is our second time. I will say the beds are wonderful. however, the breakfast is divine and why we come! Arlene really is thoughtful and accommodating for guests with special diet restrictions. it's set back in a beautiful area.

Super clean, host was very prompt on getting initial setup. The house itself very unique and worth the stay. Will stay again

Galen and Karen were wonderful hosts. They kept us informed and were so very helpful. The location on Barron Lake is so beautiful, quiet and peaceful. The town of Niles is a short 5-7 minute drive and the Notre Dame campus is about 15 or 20 minutes from their home. The breakfasts were outstanding! We had 6 people in the home including our infant grandson and there was plenty of room for more. We had a fantastic time and so will you.

Comfortable and clean, delicious breakfast, lovely conversation. My daughter is studying at Notre Dame - staying at the Kuhn BnB is the perfect place to stay when visiting her. Thank you!

We really enjoyed our stay in a castle! Complimentary breakfast brought to our room was great. I’m sure their other meals are fantastic, too.

Such a wonderful host the breakfast was spectacular and healthy! The historical home was amazing with so much history. Great hosts and will book again!

We had a wonderful stay at Goldberry Woods! The breakfast was fantastic, the entire bed & breakfast was peaceful, and they gave many recommendations for restaurants in the area. Their property is beautiful and has trails throughout. We will definitely be back!

What a delight! Ron and Ken define hospitality. The Inn is so beautifully decorated, with a super chic blend of modern and classic furnishings. It is such a calm and luxurious sanctuary. Breakfast was delicious. The location is perfect for catching a show at The Acorn. We will definitely be back.

This is one of the top places we have ever stayed. Exquisitely decorated and comfortable inside and out, Dennis and Jim have created a warm and welcoming home. My wife and I stayed in the upstairs room, which included an extremely comfortable bed, a nice size bathroom and a separate living room area which overlooked the common living room and large glass windows displaying the garden and river beyond. Breakfast was on a whole other level. Jim greeted us with freshly brewed coffee. Dennis, a long time chef, used his talents in preparing scrumptious meals. Best of all was the wonderful conversations with Jim, Dennis and the other guests. The backyard garden is gorgeous with a comfortable sitting area to enjoy and relax. Included with our stay was free use of the kayaks or a canoe to enjoy the kalamazoo river. We had a great stay and look forward to our return the next time we are in the area. 😎

One of our favorite Bed & Breakfast experiences for sure! Home was beautiful, hosts were gracious and full of knowledge about the area and breakfast was amazing! We appreciated access to the butler pantry for home-made snacks (hello lemon bars) and drinks throughout our stay. If you’re visiting South Bend or passing through, it’s worth an overnight visit.

I LOVED THIS STAY. My room was SO cozy and had the sweetest little touches. (I highly recommend the Blueberry Room!) The heated bathroom floor was extra nice! The price was fantastic, the surroundings were tranquil and GORGEOUS, the porch was IDEAL. And Tom and Arlene—absolutely wonderful!!! I literally felt like they were family right away. They made me feel SO at home and so comfortable. Arlene had little snacks on the counter for guests to eat, and her breakfasts were so delicious and generous.🫶🏼 I loved hanging out at the table in the mornings for breakfast and even in the evening playing games with Tom and Arlene. Hospitality is clearly their gift and I loved benefitting from it. 10/10 experience, would absolutely recommend!😊

I booked this stay for my mother and grandmother, and they were absolutely thrilled with the experience. From the moment they arrived, they felt welcomed and cared for. The hospitality was genuine and kind — they couldn’t stop talking about how friendly everyone was. The breakfast each morning was fresh, delicious, and served with love. Bobby's place was clean, convenient, and comfortable. South Haven is beautiful and Bobby's place is a great way to experience it. I liked that they had a parking spot. Reasonable price and good location. We will be back!

Tracy and Mark were wonderful! The food is top notch and they were so so wonderful and friendly! Our room was so cute and so nicely decorated just like the rest of the house! We left already thinking about when we could stay again. It is the perfect distance from South Haven and Saugatuck. This was our first time with a bed and breakfast and were unsure how it would go. We could not ask for a better experience. We came as guests and left feeling like family. Huff and Puff we’re very cute fyi.

Must stay B&B! Eric and Tracy have gone above and beyond renovating the Forest Inn for the perfect getaway. The entire house is very intentional, gorgeous woodwork throughout, and clean. Multiple common spaces for spending time relaxing or playing games. Breakfast was wonderful while relaxing on the front porch and included fresh ingredients and delicious homemade food. Douglas beach is an easy walk and the pool was clean and refreshing. Easy to get into downtown Saugatuck but you will barely want to leave your place at Forest Inn!

Home away from home! For our 10 year wedding anniversary my husband and I wanted to go somewhere special. We have never done a B&B before and as our first time it won't be our last time at Peggy's and Bruce beautiful estate. We had an amazing time at their Bed and Breakfast! From their beautiful Cara suite which we stayed in, to the beautiful location with their own Vinyard, to the amazing pool with views, and lastly the amazing Breakfast by Peggy and Bruce! Also thank you Bruce for the recommendation for "Borrowed Time " resteraunt, it was delicious This place really is a home away from home and we felt so comfortable staying here! 😋! Thank you Peggy and Bruce for an unforgettable 10 year anniversary and we look forward to coming back!

We had a very nice weekend stay at the Forest Inn. Eric was quick to greet us as soon as we arrived. Our room was clean and well decorated. The Inn is located in a beautiful area of town. I enjoyed the food that was prepared for us every morning and it was a nice touch to be able to eat it on the front porch! Thank you for an enjoyable stay.

Eric and Tracy did a wonderful job restoring the property while keeping the original feel and charm of the home. The location could not be better, you are a 5 minute walk to a secluded beach and only a few minute drive to both downtown Saugatuck and Douglas. Eric’s breakfasts were phenomenal and he did an exceptional job accommodating a severe allergy. The room we stayed in was spacious and beautifully renovated. The bathroom and shower were among the best in any hotel or bnb property I have ever stayed in. If you are looking for a relaxing stay in the Saugatuck area you could not find a better place.

I can’t say enough great things about Shelly’s Airbnb stay. We had never stayed at an airbnb with the hosts present and it was wonderful Great breakfasts and they treated my wife and parents like family. Great location for access to anything on ND campus. Safe nice neighborhood The basement is very private and was great to relax with our family. Everything was well communicated and checking in was simple.

We absolutely loved our stay! The area was beautiful! There were loads of things to do, and it would be a perfect vacation spot in a variety of seasons. On top of taking part in the festivities of Tulip Time, we also got away from the crowds and visited the beach nearby, walked local trails, and did a bit of yoga in the the sunny back room. We booked both appartments, and it was a great fit for our large group. The house was lovely. I could see this being a perfect vacation stop for anyone! Breakfast every day was a great bonus as well! Sara, Rob, and pups Iris and Zinnia were fantastic hosts. We would definitely stay again the next time we're in Michigan!
