Holiday rentals with a kayak in South Holland

Communication and check-in were flawless. We felt immediately at home - the house was clean and the surroundings were serene. The chickens strolling around were a great touch - the kids loved them. They also enjoyed the well-maintained trampoline and all the toys in the playroom. When we booked, the listing didn’t include a photo of the kids’ bedroom, but it’s there and it’s great. It also has an extra bed for two. We all ended up sleeping in that room. If you like reading, the house has a great selection of books, including some written by the owner. We recommend Kim and Ben’s place!

All in all a great accommodation, modern, beautiful ambience, quiet, the garden with the furniture, the size, the jetty and the canal just great. In addition, the accommodation is very centrally located to take beautiful bike tours, the small town for the small shopping right in front of the door, what more do you need for an extended weekend. . .

we felt very comfortable. the location is fantastic! the house is well equipped. especially was that Ingrid and Robert were so easy to reach. unfortunately, the house was quite dusty.. Ingrid also seemed very upset that the cleaning company had cleaned badly and was accommodating. we still liked it very much! especially the outdoor area and the sauna are fantastic!!!

We stayed in Jorrit's house for the 3rd time and felt very comfortable again. The weather was dreamy. The screens on the terrace door and windows were very pleasant, because there were already many mosquitoes on the road. A walk to downtown Gouda is recommended. It almost always goes along the water. I think we will go to Jorrit's house more times!

The stay was very relaxing and beautiful. Shanice was very helpful and responded immediately to inquiries. Unfortunately, the parking card did not work, so she gave us a new one (which unfortunately also did not work, but it seems that there was a general systematic problem with the parking barrier, for which the hostess is not responsible). She also gave us a high chair so my son could eat with us at the table. In general, toys and painting materials as well as a sandbox and a trampoline were available and thus it was very child-friendly. I would possibly find the stairs to the beds questionable when it comes to child-friendliness, but that does not change the rating of this really nice and cozy accommodation. The house is very nicely decorated. We liked the surroundings very much. Especially for dogs there are many ways to take nice walks.

Gorgeous house, great location, super-helpful and friendly hosts - what more could you ask for?

We had a nice stay at Nanette's! The accommodation was clean, lovingly furnished and exactly as described. The kitchen was very well equipped. The mattresses (we slept upstairs on the right) were also very good and we were able to sleep well in them. Nanette is a warm hostess who goes to great lengths to make you feel welcome. She also gave us many good tips for our stay. The house is quite far out. For us, the reason to rent this house. In the brasserie, which is within walking distance of a small harbor, there is a small selection of tasty dishes. A small supermarket can also be reached by bike in about 10 minutes. On some days (depending on the weather) there was a small odor problem in the bathroom from the drain pipe. We will nevertheless also consider renting this house in the future.

We were there with the family and had a wonderful stay. The house is high-quality, but still functionally furnished. It is very cozy and offers enough space for 6/7 people. There's everything you need!

Very cozy cottage... with all comforts, a nice private garden. Beautifully centrally located on the island...you can walk to Lake Grevelingen in no time...contact with host goes smoothly...we enjoyed it

Miranda was very, very nice and accommodating if you had any questions. The house was as described. The insects were a little annoying, but that's of course clear, as it is right by the water. We had a lot of fun! We want to come back.

The Kota of Jolanda and Falko is a wonderfully cozy place and nicely decorated. Because it is made of wood, it feels very natural inside and you can relax. The garden is beautifully landscaped with lots of nice corners and beautiful views. Its sunsets are phenomenal! You can walk into the beautiful Zouweboezem in no time. Jolanda and Falko like to think along about beautiful walks and are open for a chat. For fridge and toilet, you have to walk a little bit through the garden. If you adjust to that, that's no problem. The wifi doesn't reach to the Kota right now, but we're still thinking about editing this in the future. By the way, it does offer a chance to really switch off😉. All in all, a nice place with friendly people and a beautiful area.

Great stay at Conny's place. The environment is beautiful and peaceful. We were able to boat on the canal. The very friendly host.
