Cob Cottage

Channel the pursuit of pause in this one-of-a-kind earth house. The cozy retreat was hand-sculpted using local and sustainable natural materials, and features a central living space with cantilevered slab stairs leading to the loft bedroom. Guests have access to the entire cottage and surrounding property. We live in the neighbouring house, and are happy to give advice or answer questions to help you make the most of your stay. The neighborhood is quite rural and mostly agricultural with several farms and a small private vineyard. The home is a 10 minute walk from the beach and a 20 minute walk from a family grocery and deli specializing in local organic produce. Mayne Island has a small community bus. Times and routes are limited, particularly in the winter. It will stop at the driveway. We also have an official hitch hiking system with signed Car Stops where you can wait for a ride. Usually you don't have to wait long. We are happy to offer pickup and drop off at the ferry dock as a courtesy to encourage car-free travellers, on days when the community bus is not running. Please let us know ahead of time that you'll be coming without your own transportation, and we will make sure that either we or the community bus (which will drop you off at our driveway) are there to meet you when your ferry arrives. The BC Ferries terminals near Victoria and Vancouver are easily reachable via public transit from their respective airports and downtowns.

Our tiny cabin is located on a 14 acres property in the middle of the woods. You will enjoy complete privacy and use of your own area on the land, including a pond. Located 2 min, from the Transcanada Trail, 20 min. walk to the Kinsol Trestle, a World Heritage Site with beautiful swimming holes right underneath the bridge. 20 min. to next Grocery store and 22-25 min to Duncan. Approx. 50 min- 1 hr to Victoria. Pottery lessons are available by request if you have always wanted to try it out.

Forest Haven BNB: Private suite and hot tub

Our home is surrounded by tranquil forest. Sit on the private patio or enjoy the hot tub, while basking in the serenity of the surroundings. We have a sweet little playhouse in the side yard for your children to enjoy. We are close to many forest walks, the free disc golf course, (we have discs in the suite for your use), and many ocean access points a few minutes drive away. There is a park and playground at Shingle Bay, a few minutes drive away. Pets welcome by request only.

This beautiful home is located on Oxbow Ridge on Pender Island with a breathtaking view over Poets Cove. It offers a landscaped yard with chairs to relax in to admire the views. There is a smaller cottage that the owners live in on site in an adjacent building. This is their personal home and live in it during the year. Please note that we have two private areas that will be closed off to guests in the house. We have a golden doodle named Treble who may pop over for a visit.

This was truly one of the best Airbnb stays we’ve ever experienced. The house was immaculately clean and fully equipped with everything we could possibly need. The kitchen was spotless and stocked with top-notch amenities, and the bedroom and linens were incredibly comfortable and fresh. The heating system worked perfectly, and the towels were clean and soft — everything in the house felt well-maintained and thoughtfully prepared. What really stood out was the electric vehicle charger, which made our trip even more convenient. The breathtaking view of the ocean and the chance to see the tide come in and out so closely added a magical touch to our stay. It was a perfect, relaxing, and romantic getaway — we highly recommend it, especially for couples celebrating a honeymoon or anniversary. Highly recommend this location. Gary and Annamarie were so welcoming! Great hosts. Lovely property, relaxing and beautiful views looking out on the water. Garden suite was quiet and peaceful, right next to the lovely garden. The amenities were a great bonus (hot tub, sauna, ice plunge and kayaking), used them throughout our stay. The home cooked breakfast was so delicious, fresh ingredients.Definitely going to miss having those everyday 😊. Especially the scones. Would stay here again. Thank you again for having us. The mid-century architecture is spot on, the interiors quietly elegant, and even the fridge feels curated. Staying at Eyas Cabin was a great way to relax and connect with nature, while still having all the essentials for a comfortable stay. A comfy bed, a beautiful fireplace and a forest feeling to enjoy. The cabin was easy to find and still close to all the nice spots in northern VC Islands. But the best part is super friendly and relaxed Warren and his family. A five-star stay without any doubt.

We had a fantastic week's stay in Susanne's amazing cabin. The cabin is modern and well-appointed with everything you need for a relaxing getaway. The setting is idyllic, on a large treed property with incredible views. We enjoyed being able to walk many places including the great access to the beach. Susanne was extremely accommodating and helpful - we highly recommend her cabin for a quiet, comfortable stay on Pender Island.
