So if you're looking for an old-fashioned rustic atmosphere, you've come to the right place. Pihlaja-aho's cabin is the only place in Finland where you can spend a unique alpaca holiday. The 1.3 ha of natural meadows of the croft are grazed by three nice alpaca boys, whose easy care you are responsible for independently and according to your own schedule.

Farmhouse and Lakeside Cottage - Relax in Nature

We offer a cozy, accessible and air-conditioned main building of a farmhouse (10 beds), which is also suitable for remote working, and a log barn building (4 beds) and a beach cottage (400m from the main building, 2 beds) + a wooden rowing boat. Capacity: 16 (8+8) in summer and 10 (8+2) in winter. Price includes sheets + towels (package price for 8). Scooter and snowmobile for an additional fee. Kangasniemi's shops and PuulaGolf course are about 10 km away. If necessary, the owner of the property will present various hobby opportunities.

Kaislan Tila

Kaislan Tila is located in the countryside, 22km north of Mikkeli. We live in the main building of the farm and there is a 65m2 separate apartment in the yard. The farm has animals and is surrounded by thousands of lakes in Eastern Finland and forest areas rich in natural resources. The nearby lake offers recreational opportunities, fishing, swimming, boating, etc. In the woods, you can ski, pick berries, pick mushrooms and just enjoy the peace and quiet. In winter, you can go snowshoeing, skiing and skating, weather permitting.

Hakoniemi - Old log house in Northern Saimaa

”Hako” stands for a spruce tree or a tree lying in the swamp or in the water, waiting for clearing. Hakoniemi is a coniferous peninsula in North Karelia, located in the inland archipelago of Northern Saimaa. The creative space in Rääkkylä, Oravisalo, provides a framework for working and leisure, combining creativity and nature.The 1925s old farm has got a new life as a center of creative activity where you can organize workshops, events, marketing projects and tourist and accommodation services.

Peace and harmony at Pikkumökki-cottage

Pikkumökki-cottage is a cosy, traditional log cottage with a magnificent view over the lake Saimaa. The cottage has an open common area (livingroom and kitchenette) and a sleeping alcove. Sauna is in the same building with an own entrance. There is no shower, but you wash yourself with a refreshing lakewater. There is no watertoilet, but traditional dry eco toilet in a separate building. A big terrace and a grill for barbeque. There is a small bungalow next to the cottage, with beds for two.

Located in the old camping area, Ilves has easy access from the main road – ideal for guests arriving by car or bike. Its spot makes day trips, shopping, and exploring nearby attractions simple, while still offering the peaceful atmosphere of village life and nature.

Yöveden Ateljeekoti

Yöveden Ateljeekoti is an atmospheric accommodation in a historic former village school, completed in 1893. The house has five bedrooms, and there are also two barns in the courtyard that can be used in winter. Guests have access to a well-equipped kitchen, a spacious dining room, a children's play area, a covered summer kitchen in the garden with grills, and a studio where Katja's art is displayed.

You may enjoy our exellent saunas heated with firewood & swimming in a little lake. There are few sheep, horses, cows, chicken, rabbits, ducks, cats and dogs at the farm. The animals are friendly. Horse trekking is also available.

Sointula is an atmospheric log house built in 1900 in the middle of nature. At Sointulassa you can take care of sheep, ducks, peacocks and pigeons, enjoy the traditional Finnish countryside atmosphere and take a sauna in a good wood sauna.
