Farmstay holiday rentals in Southern Aegean

The apartment is a mile or so outside the port and little town of Livadi. We stayed for a week and as we didnt have a car walked to and from the town along a beautiful tree lined bay where we stopped off to eat in the cafe and bathe in the sea. The apartment which is attached to a larger house is thoughtfully decorated in a rough cottage style. We had breakfast and cooked evening meals in the kitchen and eat outside in the attractive patio garden. As Vici says in the brochure the apartment is small and we found adapting to its size was sometimes tricky but Vici is a brilliant and friendly host. During our stay she helped us again and again by collecting and returning us and our bags to the port and showing us around the little town. It was a great pleasure to meet her.

we had a really nice stay in this cozy and quiet house. great terrace with a lot of space, nice hammocks. even some beach games we could take to the beach. at night the temperature in the bedrooms was just perfect. nice and simple kitchen that did provide everything needed even a huge gas grill we didn't use. definitely will come again some time. thanks a lot for this nice week!

We had a wonderful stay with our two children (8 and 12), though the apartment was so spacious we could easily have brought two more family members along! Everything had been thoughtfully prepared with families in mind, and our hosts were absolutely lovely—warm, welcoming, and helpful throughout. The apartment was even better than the photos: clean, beautifully presented, and full of thoughtful touches that made our stay feel easy and relaxed. There’s plenty to do in the local area, and we really appreciated the great recommendations from our host. Would definitely recommend!

We had a great time! Lambros is very helpful and communicative, and the views from the house are truly stunning. The house is tiny but well equipped with everything you need. We decided not to rent a car, but call for a taxi whenever we wanted to go to and from the house. It might be good to know that this worked very well and that the telephone operator spoke excellent English. Would definitely like to come back some time!

We had a magical stay in this beautiful place. The house is basic but very clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The surroundings were stunning and our host made sure we knew what was around us in the local area in the way of restaurants, beaches & things to do. He also has family nearby which was reassuring had we needed anything. We really had a wonderful escape.

What a beautiful home with stunning views. We stayed a week for a family reunion with our adult children, the layout of the home gave us all enough space to relax and spend time together. Everything was clean and house well equipped. Our hosts Margarita and her husband were really helpful before and during our stay. We would love to return one day. Highly recommended.

I had a great experience staying at Perivoli! The area was so green and welcoming, a nice place to relax and enjoy the scenery. Stefanos and Stella were so friendly and helpful, always quick to respond. Check in was easy and uncomplicated. I think it's a great base, especially if you're looking to explore more of the island outside of Chora. It's not really within walking distance of town, but it's a 5 minute ride by car or quad/bike (you could walk if you wanted, but the road is pretty busy). There are also some nice wineries nearby. One minor note I have to mention is that parking is quite tight - the parking area is between two walls and I couldn't find space to turn around, so I had to make a 4-5 point turn between the walls to get my small car around. It's certainly doable, but you'd be much better off with a bike or quad. At least a small a car. Other than that, everything was great and I would certainly stay here again, I recommend to anyone looking to explore Naxos island!

Giannis is a very invested, responsive and discreet host. We really enjoyed the welcome with a pastry (very good!), the oranges in the fridge as well as the drinks made available. The environment is very pleasant and the location is ideal, quiet but close to the promenade with restaurants. If there were any questions, Giannis was always available as well as to make recommendations to us. Listing is as described. However, it should not be too big for the night part and the bathroom but otherwise everything was very good!

We loved our stay here. Anna was very friendly, stayed in touch and met us on arrival into Milos to guide us to the property. She gave fantastic local recommendations. The family who owns the farmhouse take great care to ensure their guests have a comfortable stay and we felt very welcome. They went above and beyond with the cleaning service, fresh produce, baked goods and responsiveness. Do yourself a favour and book this property! It is even better than the pictures and so peaceful.

We were here as a couple, after a very difficult arrival due to a thunderstorm over the airport, we only arrived at the accommodation at about 12:00 am, but we were able to check in without any problems. The stay was characterized by peace and serenity, the free-range chickens and the natural area have a special charm. We were always treated kindly and had everything we needed. The accommodation is definitely recommended for all who want peace and privacy.

The House of the Midnight Sheep is located in a beautiful spot with views to the sea and over the hills. It’s very peaceful above a charming village, straight onto hiking paths. The house is a lovely place to idle with gorgeous interiors and terraces. Everything has been carefully curated for comfort and aesthetic pleasure from cutlery to cushions to bed linen. Early April has its merits, including spring flowers and quiet roads, but we need to return when it’s warmer to use the outdoor shower. Thank you so much for a wonderful holiday.

Anna Maria und Stratos were the best hosts! Very good communication even long before we arrived, they made us feel very welcome and took great care of us. Anna Maria even brought us fresh eggs from the farm and selfmade olive oil to try. She was also very proactive with recommendations and helped us plan our days. The house was very cute, a standalone house on the top of the hill with a beautiful wide view of the island. Everything was very clean and the bed comfortable. We can really recommend this apartment to anyone valuing privacy and an authentic stay on Naxos!

We had a wonderful stay at Alain and Maria’s place! Maria, who welcomed us at the destination, was incredibly helpful and kind throughout our stay. One lovely surprise: we received fresh eggs from the chickens in the backyard – and no worries, they’re super quiet, we didn’t hear a thing! The house itself is cozy and peaceful, nestled high up in the mountains with a truly stunning view. It’s the perfect getaway for anyone seeking calm and nature. The value for money is excellent. Maria went above and beyond – she even provided toys for our little toddler, and when I asked for help finding a birthday cake for my wife or fresh fish, she responded immediately with great suggestions. The small BBQ area was a bonus and perfect for preparing our own meals. We felt completely at home and would 100% recommend this place to anyone. Thank you again for the warm hospitality!

We had a wonderful stay and would 10/10 come back here! The place is super well located yet quiet and gorgeous, and Sofia and Adonis were amazing hosts. We felt very well taken care of, had everything we needed and loved being so close (5-10mins by foot to Apollonia) to everything, yet a bit tucked away. Cannot recommend enough. Thank you Sofia!

Beautiful villa! In an idyllic setting surrounded by olive trees and cacti. Very spacious house, very well equipped. Kyriakos welcomed us very well and was very available throughout the stay. We greatly appreciated his responsiveness as well as his kindness. This home will allow you to have a great stay in Paros!

Great villa with beautiful views! The pool area was perfect for a chilled family holiday. Alexia was really helpful and responsive throughout our stay! Driving or taxis were required to go to Rethymno town and were easy to organise.

I really appreciate the hospitality and kindness of the host. Cristina was the person that took care of our personal affairs and whenever I had a question or request of any kind, she quickly took care of it. During the first night, one girl locked us all out and the keys were inside. Even at 1:30 am, Cristina responded quickly and solved the problem. We rented out the villa and in total, it was 11 of us and each of us could rest comfortably. The two pools are the highlight and we spent almost all day everyday in the big outside area of the villa. We could not have been happier. Thank you a lot for everything!

A cottage located in the central street of Kastro, very nice and convenient to the street where you leave the vehicles, although far enough away to be very quiet. sufficient kitchen equipment, perhaps an extra pot and bowl would be useful, but we, who love not to dine out every night, adjusted to what was there. highly recommended.
