Very peaceful and comfortable place. The beach sauna is an absolute favorite. Eva responded quickly to the unclear matter. The holiday went well at the cottage.

Nice house in a good location to see the archipelago and day trip to Turku. Everything was clean. Good mattresses. Easy communication.

Our stay at Emmy's cottage was perfect. A wonderful place in a truly beautiful part of the world. The cottage had everything that you would want of a Finnish mökki holiday, and was the perfect base to explore Savonlinna and the whole Saimaa region. It made for a memorable experience. Eija was a tremendous host, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We were warmly welcomed curbside by Eija upon our arrival, where she provided us with detailed instructions on how/where to park the car. The building and surroundings were even more beautiful than the pictures, which we didn't think would be possible. Eija explained all the aspects of the loft and showed us where to find maps, guides, and other useful information to make our stay more enjoyable. The loft was exactly as described and sparkling clean! The kitchen appliances, dishes, and other tools are all very high quality, and the washer and dryer worked well and were easy to use. Excellent Wifi and TV. Electric blinds will keep things dark during the bright Finnish summer, and there are plenty of linens and towels. Eija is very kind and responsive. We visit Tampere often and look forward to staying in Eija's loft again. Thank you for such a lovely experience! l

Had an overall lovely stay with my partner in a spectacular location right by the lake. Astonishing views for both breakfast and dinner were served right through the windows of the cottage. The price is of course in accordance with these features, maybe even a little too much. It might have been the particular weather but it was quite challenging to get the sauna ventilation exactly to where it doesn't let the smoke in the room.

We had a great time with our 2-year-old and a dog. The surroundings were peaceful, looking through the big windows, it really felt like nature was coming all the way. We spent 3 nights, longer would have been entertained. Covered pool rescue when the weather in May wasn't yet summer enough. The yard and interior are cozy and functional. In the guest book more.

Lovely condo and area to stay. The condo was perfect for a week of relaxing and visiting the Christmas market. The kitchen was perfect for cooking meals and the sauna was so nice! Great trail just outside to run or walk. Grocery store and gym within walking distance across the street. It's easy to grab a Bolt into old town (20 min drive) to explore the city. We really enjoyed our stay here.

Awesome place and great host. We had some problems with the electricity, but Teemu handled it quite fast - during the Christmas days.

A great place for calming and grounding in the midst of nature. Great sauna and nice fire pit. It was easy to do business with Lotta, and the instructions were clear about everything. We had a camping stove with us and I recommend it to others, so you don't necessarily have to use a wood stove for coffee soup or other small heating. None of the insects hurt us, even though we didn't use repellents - the mosquito season is clearly already behind us. We hope you get the chance to come again!

We spent 6 wonderful days here. We are not boaters, so going to the island was a bit of a concern at first, but fortunately we overcame our own prejudices. The location of the cottage is really peaceful, and the place is even more beautiful than in the pictures. We met Niko and his father on the beach and got a boat ride to the island. The cottage and sleeping arrangements were neat and carefully prepared. I was very welcome. Time passed quickly while we were in the sauna, swimming, cooking on the fire and exploring the environment. Of the items involved, we mostly used binoculars. The outboard rowing boat at the cottage was a convenient way to tour the nearby islands and pop over to the mainland. Special mention for: smooth communication, the level of equipment in the cottage (all necessary but no unnecessary clutter), a good bed and of course a beautiful location. If you would like to further develop the place, then perhaps the yard and walkways could be finished and blackout curtains could be purchased for the barn. However, with everything, clearly 5/5.

Lovely cottage! We celebrated our wedding day in the area and stayed at this property. Good steam and atmosphere in the sauna! Everything necessary was found and was neat.

We had a wonderful stay, the location is very beautiful with rocky scenery and a small sand beach, and very easily accessible by car from Helsinki. The cottage had everything we needed, we really enjoyed our time there!

I loved the place! Beautiful scenery for idyllic seductive people. Peaceful and private setting! Rowing on the lake was comfortably done on a boat in use. The separate sleeping area was really good and the bed bigger than normal was a big plus. The sleeping area was crowned by an air source heat pump that was well adjusted to a quiet sleeping setting. We slept really well in the listing! The sauna was really neat and atmospheric. The carrying water brought real cottage vibes. The cooking was a great success in a diverse summer kitchen. The home has a large deck and a large covered area where it was nice to hang out, both in the rain and the shine. Our dog was also very comfortable at the property. Communicating with Marko and Marjo was really easy and natural! Messages were always responded to, and everything went so smoothly. We highly recommend this place!

This is a traditional cottage in a beautiful location. Especially the lakeside sauna and terrace were an excellent place to relax and enjoy the view. The wood fired sauna worked very well, and also the nearby fire pit for cooking. It’s roughly a 40km drive through beautiful Finnish countryside via Verla to the hiking trails in Repovesi national park - well worth the trip.

We stayed at Jaakko’s cottage for our wedding day, and it was truly the perfect choice. After our ceremony, we headed there with our family and friends to continue the celebration—and everything was just magical. Jaakko was incredibly friendly and accommodating from the start. He was flexible with the number of guests we brought and allowed our loved ones to spend time comfortably at the cottage without any stress or strict time limits. His welcoming attitude made us feel completely at home, which meant so much to us on such a special day. The cottage itself was beautiful and cozy, surrounded by peaceful nature—a wonderful setting for creating unforgettable memories. Everything was clean, well-equipped, and thoughtfully prepared. It gave us the perfect blend of celebration and relaxation. We can’t thank Jaakko enough for helping make our wedding day so smooth and memorable. Highly recommended for any couple looking for a warm, spacious, and charming place to stay!
