A new log cabin with a beautiful view to a lake

A new, well-equipped log cabin built 2018 with a good access to the main roads and nearby cities. The cabin is located on a hill with a great view to a big lake. The cabin is surrounded by great berry forests, hiking trails and a lake rich in fish. In the cabin you have a wood burning sauna, a fireplace, a grill shelter, a hot tub and a boat. Winter time you can do cross-country skiing, downhill skiing, snowboarding, ice fishing and snowshoe trekking.The nearest ski center is in Sappee (30km)

Between fishes – our house on the lake in Finland

Our piece of land is located on Kaita Järvi– an about 8 km long and a few hundred meter wide lake – it is a small peninsula that looks to the south. That means: sun from morning to evening (if it shines). There right on the shore you find our log cabin, with sauna, bathroom, living room with open kitchen and two small bedrooms. A few meters next to it is a studio like guesthouse, the "Aita". It is also very cosy and comfortable, but provides no own bathroom. Village Savonranta is 5 km away.

Mökin ympärillä olevissa metsissä voi retkeillä, sienestää ja marjastaa, ja kilometrin etäisyydellä on luonnonkaunis Gölenin järvi. Mökki sijaitsee lähellä Billnäsin ruukkia, ja myös Fiskarsin ruukkikylä ravintoloineen ja putiikkeineen on pyöräilyetäisyydellä. Puulämmitteinen perinnesauna, joka on vapaasti vuokraajien käytössä, tarjoaa syvät ja kosteat löylyt.

Separate tiny bedroom, "living room" with fireplace and single beds for 2, a traditional Finnish sauna with shower. NOTE! There is no cooking possibility (kitchen) indoors - Breakfast / dinner - ask! Sievä, pieni mökki kirkasvetisen Kalkkistenkosken rannalla. Oma rauha on taattu ja luonto maisemineen vertaansa vailla. Sauno, ui, pulahda paljuun tai käy kanoottiretkellä. Tai huilaa vaan riippukeinussa. Uimaan pääset laiturilta tai suoraan rannasta. Ranta on aika äkkisyvä eli ei sovellu ihan pienille lapsille. Palju lämpiää saunan terassin vieressä. Vuodevaatteet ja pyyhkeet on mökillä valmiina. Lämpimästi tervetuloa!

Lovely log cabin Squirell's Nest

Cute and tidy app. 70 m2 log cottage for 1-8 persons. For the guests use there is a service building that has sauna, 2 showers, dressing room, wc and kitchen with amenities. By this arrangement our guests have two buildings for their use, total 130 m2. Our guests have valuated especially quietness, nature, cottage's interior and cleanliness and ability to totally relax and spend quality time. Welcome!
