Cottage holiday rentals in Southern Finland

Vietimme aivan ihanat 2 viikkoa tällä aivan rantaan rakennetulla mökillä. Kertoo paljon viihtymisestä, ettemme koko aikana poistuneet tontilta paitsi sup-laudoilla ja veneellä järven puolella. Nautimme täysin siemauksen Suomen kesästä saunoen, uiden järvessä ja porealtaassa, grillaten, suppaillen, onkien, mölkkyä tai muita pelejä pelaillen, kesäkeittiössä kokaten ja istuen, lehtiä lukien (paljon Akuja ja Tieteen Kuvalehtiä mökillä) tai auringossa istuen. Tampere oli lähellä, joten muutamat sukulaiset ja ystävät pääsivät hyvin paikalla käymäänkin (yöpyminen lisämaksusta). Kesäkeittio (lämminvesi)hanoineen oli kätevä (vaikka kaivossa oli nyt vähän vettä). Mökin varustelutaso oli hyvä ja vieraanvarainen (kahveja, vessapapereita yms sekä uusi uuni, leivänpaahdin, mikro, vedenkeitin jne), kivoja yksityiskohtia (valot kesäkeittiöön). Pasi antoi etukäteen jo paljon ohjeita ja oli tarpeen mukaan hyvin tavoitettavissa, hyvin kohtelias ja ystävällinen majoittaja! Halutaan tulla uudestaankin!

A great place to relax, enjoy sauna, fishing and paddling. Niko responds very quickly, is very responsive to spontaneous enquiries and provides lots of tips.

Sehr freundlicher Gastgeber und sehr zuvorkommend. Die Lage ist sehr gut zu erreichen und es gibt eine schöne Stadt mit Altstadt in der Nähe. Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und modern ausgestattet - sogar mit Whirlpool mit Blick aufs Wasser. Wir können den Ort und den Gastgeber sehr empfehlen und kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Vietimme rentouttavan ja mukavan juhannuksen ystävien kesken Jeren mökillä. Mökki tarjosi erinomaiset puitteet ja Jere antoi selkeät ohjeet ja vinkit kaikkeen majoitukseen ja ajanviettoon liittyen!

We loved our stay, such a great comfy house with all the amenities you will need. It's peaceful and has great views of the lake. There is a new calisthenics fitness park in 5 min. walking distance which I loved. Quick and great contacting.

Clean and cozy. Great view from the jacuzzi. Perfect for a family vacation.

Hyvin varusteltu, hyväkuntoinen, tilava kohde hienolla paikalla veden äärellä. Vuoteet odottivat valmiiksi sijattuna ja taloon asettuminen oli tehty helpoksi ja vaivattomaksi.

We had an amazing stay here, with 4 adults and 3 children (and a small dog). Lots of berry and mushroom picking, canoeing, enjoying the beautiful lake, sauna and hot tub and even catching a few fishes. No need to go anywhere else, there is more than enough to do on the property and surroundings. Pentti was always very responsive and nice. There was everything we needed. We will definitely be coming back here and wish we’d been able to stay longer.

100+ year sauna! Amazing to experience the history and culture of Finland here by the sea. It is meant to be a little rustic for how it used to be. The art museum of Sirkka Turkki next door is also an incredible experience to meet the artist and to see her creations. Ari and Arja are amazing people. On a very busy day, they still took time to find a special birch sauna vihta for me. They also made all of the toys available: bicycle, row boat, SUP paddle board. This is a lucky find if it is available grab it!

Mökki oli oikein kotoisa ja viihdyimme hyvin. Paljusta oli tunnelmallinen järvinäkymä ja pidimme myös hiekkapohjaisesta rannasta. Saunassa hyvät löylyt. Iso plussa oli tenniskenttä jossa saatiin hyvät pelit aikaiseksi! 😊

A perfect small mökki for a summer getaway! With a private access to the lake with sand, great sauna, barbecue spot and a beautiful forest with loads of blueberries and wind strawberries around. It's maybe better for someone with a car, because the closest grocery store is 6km away, and to get drinking water you have to boat 2 km, which was not a problem for us, but the boat and bikes at the property were not in the best state, but still usable. The house has everything you need, but is very small -- I feel like even though there are technically 3 sleeping places, 3 adults will use up all the oxygen at night ) but for 2 adults or 2+1 kid it's perfect. We felt very rested afterwards! There's also a very nice hiking trail nearby.

Vietimme ihanan mökkiviikonlopun nauttien luonnosta, uiden ja saunoen. Majoitus oli lyhyen ajomatkan päässä palveluista, kuten ruokakaupasta. Viikonlopulle sattui myrsky ja olimme melkein vuorokauden ilman sähköä mökillä, mutta Markus hoiti asian parhaalla mahdollisella tavalla ja pyytämättä.

Kommunikointi isäntäväen kanssa sujui erinomaisesti. Mökistä löytyi kaikki tarvittava, paikka oli rauhallinen ja sijainti täydellinen retkeilystä pitäville. Repoveden kansallispuisto ja Verlan alue ovat lyhyen ajomatkan päässä.

Kolmas kerta lampaita katsomassa. Nyt tosin lampaat eivät olleet sosiaalisia tällä kertaa. Sauna tarjosi hyvät löylyt kuten aina. Hyvä paikka rentoutua pk seudulla käydessä.

Puhdas ja siisti mökki. Kaunis maisema. Pehmeät löylyt. Tänne tulee mielellään uudestaankin.

The cabin has everything you would want of a cabin. It is by a lake in a beautiful national park with trails starting right at the house and leading into a very diverse forest. The cabin itself is also great. It is not just a airbnb place, with the most necessary stuff, but has been in private use for many years. Therefore it offers much more than can be described in the airbnb listing. The dishwasher, oven and bbq makes cooking easy and enable you to cook anything. We had a great time and I can strongly recommend this cabin.

We had a great stay at Tarja's cabin. The spacious yard and cozy cabin created an environment where we could relax right away. The sauna was great and we especially enjoyed swimming in the lake. Very nice kitchen to prepare your own foods. Bed was comfortable and the place had a nice homey feeling. Highly recommend!

We had the most incredible relaxing holiday in this tranquil setting. The location of the house right by the sea and surrounded by woodland is so special further enhanced by the sauna, rowing boat and BBQ. The house is very comfortable, well equipped and so well thought out (even though the kitchen is a little tired, but they are updating it). Irene and Joonas are very quick at responding to any questions and are extremely helpful. We were very sad to leave and wish we could have stayed longer. Highly recommend this house :)

Venesjärven rannalla ei voi muuta kuin viihtyä! Jo toisen kerran vietimme mukavan viikonlopun grillauksen, soutelun, saunomisen, uimisen ja löhöilyn parissa. Pistäydyimme myös viinitila Meggalassa, joka oli mökiltä kävelymatkan päässä. 😍 Kiitos mahtavista puitteista!

Hienot merimaisemat, rauhallinen paikka, hyvä puusauna mikä lämpeni nopeasti, mukava piha rannalla. Hieno laituri, miltä oli mukava mennä uimaan. Juoksevan veden puute keittiössä vaati eniten totuttelua.

A perfect place in the middle of nature! Noora welcomed us herself and showed us around. She's very nice and answered all of my texts very quickly. Everything was super clean and the sleeping cabin had blinds to make it completely dark in there. The sauna and the private beach made this an awesome experience we'd love to repeat one day. Thank you so much for letting us stay!
