Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Southern Sydney

The accomodation was warm, cozy and inviting. The kitchen was fully equipped, making it easy to prepare a home-cooked meal each evening. Both the bedrooms and bathroom were spotless and well-kept. We loved our stay and hope to be back again soon!

I think this is a good rental in a good location at a reasonable price.

We booked Jenny's place back in January when we were planning our 5-week stay in Australia. We booked this Airbnb based on reviews, and the post on the website, but knew little to nothing about the location, and where it was in relation to the city. We more than lucked out as the apartment more than lived up to expectations, as did the location - close enough to the bustling King St, with bars and restaurants aplenty, close enough to local transport links to get you wherever we needed, but also really quietly placed near Hollis Park. As a host Jenny was brilliant from day one, communicating throughout and responsive to our needs, if we had an issue, not that we had many because she was so well organised from the start. We've done quite a few Airbnb's now and this ranks very close to the top of the tree, because it mixes great hosting with a great property and a great location. Thank you Jenny for a great thirteen days!

Katerina is a generous and supportive host. She responded quickly to our requests, and made us feel very welcome. We love the social aspect of Katerina’s home, and enjoyed its facilities. We highly recommend this Sydenham property.

Coledale is a special place and this house is one of the best places to stay to experience everything the area has to offer. Despite the inclement weather the house was comfortable, warm and well equipped with everything we needed. Thanks Tracey for making the check in and check out process so seamless. We will be back!

House is great, location is really handy to the city. The back yard is a surprising oasis in the middle of the city.

Great place, I won’t hesitate to recommend. Chris was very friendly. Even informed us when the place was ready for us so we could check in early. Easy check in, with no fuss keypad entry. Suitable for couples. No room for kids. Bathroom was spacious. Very comfy sofa to put your feet up and watch tv. Lovely spot. Short walk to Spit Rd and buses to the city. Clontarf Reserve is a very pretty spot with a lovely marina/cafe extending over the water. Shops are a short drive away.

Our stay at Shane's apartment was excellent! Shane was helpful and responsive from the get go and directions/check-in instructions were clear and easy to follow. The apartment was clean, tidy and homey, with all the essential amenities and more. The Parsley Bay area was absolutely stunning, with beautiful views and peaceful surrounds. It is an easy walk to Watson's Bay for seafood or a ferry ride--bus stop right outside the apartment. We really enjoyed our stay, would highly recommend staying here to others and can't wait to return.

Property and amenities match description. Very comfortable. Well worth the price for the property and ideal for a weekend out considering it's within walking distance of a variety of restaurant and bars. Suzanna was very helpful. Always leaving psa messages regarding events occuring during our stay, grocery stores, alternative parking locations and routes to take to arrive at the property. Would book again.

We loved our stay at Elise’s place . The unit was spacious , clean , close to the beach and restaurants . We took our dog which was amazing as Elise’s place has a private grass area he could run around and play . We will definitely be back

Maria's Little Gem is just that, a little gem. Everything you could want for a quiet overnight or a long stay. It's a short distance from Bowral CBD which is nice to have the quiet :)

Absolutely gorgeous apartment in an ideal location - walkable to everything buzzy in Bondi or the smaller more peaceful beaches in the other direction (Tama, Bronte, etc). Perfect location a short walk from Tamarama beach and the VIEW!!! Apartment is lovely and modern inside, very comfortable and feels very private. Victoria was an incredible host and managed to arrange an early check in and late check out when she found out my flight times. Would absolutely stay again!

Another lovely stay! It's the perfect spot for our family. Nice and cosy in winter too. So clean and tidy each time. We'll be back again I'm sure!

Debbie's place was such a perfect space and location to spend a weekend in Bowral. The apartment feels more like a house as it was very spacious yet cosy, with two separate living areas, all the amenities you would need (and more). We loved the fireplace, fully stocked kitchen and supply of books and boardgames which made us feel right at home. Set on a quiet street, only 10 mins walk intow town, the location was also perfect. Thank you Debbie, we hope to be able to stay again in future!

This place is magical. We returned a second year in a row and this time was even better. If you want to get off the grid and forget Covid, masks and all the stresses of life, the Villa doesn’t disappoint!

First time in Australia, and what a way to start! We had a great stay in the Bowral area, the house ticked every box we had – location / size / amenities to name a few; it was close (walking 2min) to where we needed to be daily - Milton Park Hotel, and all comms with Sara went very well, with assistance on any queries we had – sometimes on a daily basis! What a beautiful, peaceful place that had all the necessary amenities a 2 min walk from the spectacular pearl beach. It was perfect & Carla and Chloe were great hosts and were very generous to give us a late check out on Sunday. The spa is pretty special although a bit finicky if you don’t know how to use it - thankfully our hosts were very responsive in helping with this. My only note is to maybe make sure if you need more linen/towels than what they provide for the 4 doubles and one single bed (9 people). We booked the house for 11 (there is a room with fold out couches) but those 2 guests didn’t get towels or linen. Final thing is the property has close neighbours so there are a lot of rules to do with noise etc. This makes sense as I assume the hosts have been burned before and must protect their relationship with the local community but if you want somewhere you can feel free to sing your heart out around the fire pit until the wee hours go elsewhere. Thanks for everything!

We had an amazing weekend at Dadirri Retreat. Simon was a fantastic host, very accomodating and responsive. The house is absolutely gorgeous wth three separate pavilions, one with the kitchen and lounge/dining areas with spectacular views, one which is a master suite with an amazing huge bathtub looking out over the trees, and the third is adjacent to the pool, with a bedroom, large bathroom and the sauna, by far the best sauna I have seen in an Airbnb. Although the weather was patchy, time in the sauna followed by a dip in the mineral pool was a lovely way to spend the day in total quiet and privacy. There are lots of great outdoor spots for relaxing and the kitchen is very well equipped including a new Nespresso machine. The beds were super comfortable with high quality bedding, fluffy robes and Leif products in the shower. Perfect spot for a peaceful getaway, we will be back. Thanks Simon!

Thank you for a wonderful and relaxing weekend getaway! We really enjoyed our stay, it felt like a home away from home with all the comforts that you need when away. The facilities were fantastic and exactly what we needed. The home was spacious and furnished comfortably, and the amenities were clean and well looked after. Overall we cannot fault our stay and look forward to coming back in the future.

We had such a great stay! The location is perfect, only a few minutes walk to the beach and you can watch sunrise over the ocean in bed :) The house was so comfortable and stylish, lots of art deco character. We would 100% stay again!

We stayed at Nicola’s place for five nights and we had the best time. The area is so peaceful and beautiful and it was the absolute best kitted out Airbnb. Everything we could have wanted was provided. We made use of all the beach gear everyday - snorkels, paddle boards, fishing rods you name it! It was also easy to feed 9 of us as the kitchen and bbq area was so well set up. It was also terrific for the kids as there were so many games and activities for them to do thanks to Nicole and David. We will definitely be back and recommending this gem to our friends and family.
