Holiday rentals with lake access in Southern Tablelands

When in Canberra, Helen’s is a lovely home away from home, beautifully decorated with happy plants, lovely sunroom, and excellent in communication during stays!

This home was absolutely stunning. The open plan and windows make all the difference. Lots of space for a family or the perfect escape for a couple. The record player alone made the stay fun. Will definitely be booking again in the future. Thank you for the lovely bread, jam and butter. It made our day.

This house is beautiful and exactly as pictured. Lynne and Dennis were very helpful and easy to communicate with. We stayed during some not great weather but that no issue at all and it was quite lovely to sit outside with a drink and BBQ and watch the storm and Birds. The kids enjoyed using the kayaks and fishing.

Eva was a fantastic host who was very contactable, accommodating and SkyView villa had everything we needed for a great long weekend stay. We definitely would love to come back and make the most of the opportunities in the area when it is warmer too!

Erika is a great host, communication was easy. We love the house and had a great stay. it's so close to everything and yet also cosy to stay in if the weather outside isn't great. We'd totally stay again!

This place was perfect for our weekend in Canberra. William is proactive, highly responsive and goes the extra mile to make you feel at home. The place is in an incredible location, easy walk to wonderful restaurants and shops. The house was clean, beds comfortable and nice and warm when it was cold outside. Kevin's house is very well appointed, it contains everthing you need, a home from home for sure. It's in a great location and easy to get about the area from the house. It's an old style cottage with attention to homely and interesting features. Lots of thought has gone into the ambience of the property. It's also a very dog friendly home and area.

Thank you Mandy for hosting us! The house is warm and cosy, even it's cold outside, beds are very comfy. we love the wood 🔥 fire place in the house. Kitchen is full of items that is helpful for cooking. We will come back and stay in this cottage and strongly recommend it

was a perfect location- was a little bit of confusion when getting access to the building but was great once we sorted it out. Had a lovely gym, pool was unfortunately closed when we were there. But overall was lovely, very close to west fields and beautiful view of the lake.

We totally enjoyed our overnight stay at Jessica’s place. It is very accessible to other places of interest, grocery is just on the ground floor of the building so if you need somwthing its so easy to get it. The place is clean and tidy. Everything you will need is available in the kitchen and linens. There are 2 heaters and an extra portable heater that kept us cosy on Canberra’s very cold temperature. Thank you!

We loved staying in Kingston at Tracy’s. The apartment is in a great location to the lake, restaurants, shops and within close driving to Canberra’s sights. It was spotless and labels made locating everything provided very easy. The beds were very comfortable and warm. The rooms were warm and cozy on frosty mornings and cool evenings. We used the parking spaces across the road. Our hostess was regularly in touch and gave clear instructions. Perfect for our adult family of four.

Brandon was an excellent host providing clear instructions from the get go with proactive communication. The place upon entry felt clean and smelt clean and was well looked after. Coffee and milk amenities were available which was perfect for the early mornings however if you need a Woolworths and restaurants they were right downstairs making the location very desirable. Many thanks again! We will be returning on our next visit.

This place was perfect for us. The beds were comfortable, and having the bunk bed in the living room was really fun. It made it much more of an exciting sleepover experience, and the curtain was great to close when it was time to actually sleep. Nice food places directly outside the building, including coffee, yay! Kind of wish we had stayed longer to enjoy more of the amenities of the building,m. Maybe next time!

What a beautiful and relaxing three days we had staying at the Cottage in Wildes Meadow. Your place was just perfect and unique. The cottage was gorgeous and had everything we needed. The accommodation felt like a home away from home, it was incredibly cozy and clean. The highlight was relaxing by the fire which we enjoyed every night. Truly such a relaxing stay and we can't wait to come back!

Absolutely a 5 star stay! The indoor & outdoor fire pit were set up and ready to go. The surroundings were amazing! Even the bed linen was soft & cosy! The wildlife was a beautiful bonus! We were so kindly given food for the sheep and able to explore at our leisure what felt like a rainforest getaway! The spa is definitely a great touch too! Thank you so much - highly recommend!

Airbnb is one of the best I have stayed in. Airbnb is warm and comfortable. Washing machine and kitchen are functional. Fridge is huge. There are two toilets but only one for shower. It’s a two storey house so climbing the stairs is needed to get to the rooms. Host has lovely goats so you get a goat view. Wifi is good. Host communicates well and does not disturb guests during stay. Private parking slot available. Check in was hassle free and no one disturbs you during the stay. Host provided red wine and cakes on arrival. There are bread loaf, butter and jam provided. Much appreciated. Kitchen is great for cooking and there’s coffee machine. The two toilets are awesome for the two rooms and shower is warm. Washing machine and dryer are a bonus and they worked really well. Stargazing outside the house was amazing every night as the view was unblocked. House is located next to a farm of cows so the view is that. If you are looking for a little getaway that is close to both Sydney or Canberra, this is the place for you! This little cottage is absolutely stunning. It is very modern inside, with a beautiful wood fire to keep you warm while you look out over Lake Conjola as the sun sets. With less than a 2 minute walk, you can head down to a little jetty where you can sit in the sun and watch the local wildlife or just enjoy the beautiful surrounds. The cottage is on the same property as the main residence, but it is very private. I definitely recommend this little peace of paradise, and would be only to happy to book in again soon!

Absolutely loved Brendan’s place. It’s just as cosy and stunning as the photos and it’s right on the lake. An absolute gem of a place and the check in instructions were super easy to follow even in the dark at night in the rain!

Excellent experience and very peaceful. Lisa went above and beyond over my expectations. Left homemade baked treats for me on the kitchen table. offered to change linens after having to extend my stay. Kitchen was stocked with essentials like coffee, salt, pepper, aluminum foil, etc. Approved my request to extend my stay promptly. If you spend a lot of time in cities I encourage you to step outside at night and take in the incredible view of the stars and sky. PS be very careful driving towards Tumbarumba especially after dark the animals are out and everywhere however it is a nice little drive when you hit the canyon!

Had the best time at Canyonleigh. Tranquil location, gorgeous animals and access to a river. The place itself was very well equipped, clean and tidy. The best part about the entire stay however was Mel. She was extremely responsive and available for all of our queries. She offered a farm experience to us in the morning. When we needed honey, cinnamon and extra towels she was quick to provide. Furthermore we needed a ride into Bowral and she not only offered to give us one, but gave as quite an informed and impassioned tour of the area. We had the best time and would love to revisit again. Our cup feels very full now and I am really grateful!
