Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Southport

We thoroughly enjoyed our peaceful and quiet time of rest at The Rising Tides. The setting is absolutely serene. It’s very secluded and quiet, the perfect place for a week of rest and relaxation. We went hiking on the Cliff Trail (15 minutes away and a very nice hiking trail), watched the sunrise at the Lands End store on Bailey island (15-20 minutes), and kayaked in the cove. The grill was very nice and we enjoyed cooking on it regularly. The place was very clean and ready on our arrival. The host communicated very clearly. You will need to follow her driving directions as they are very clear and helpful. In our four days there we only saw 1 neighbor - and that was as we were leaving on the weekend. There’s a grocery store only 15 minutes away and we were able to stock up on our way there. Really, this was one of our favorite places we’ve ever stayed. We really enjoyed having a few options of things to do while also being able to just do nothing on our vacation in a quiet place.

Tammy’s place was amazing! We couldn’t ask for a better place to spend time on our mid-coast Maine getaway. The house was easy to find, squeaky clean and super comfortable and cozy. It was minutes to Boothbay Harbor’s boat tours, shops and restaurants, Maine Botanical Gardens and their Giant Trolls, and other sites. Tammy was only a text or call away to answer questions or give suggestions. We loved every minute and would not hesitate to book with Tammy again.

Everything was as described and more! With a wonderful location close to town, good privacy, and so much space inside with many commodities we wouldn’t even think of. Even our dog had a fun filled week with us. We hope to visit again, it’s just the perfect home away from home. Couldn’t recommend a better place to stay.

We came here for a private getaway on our honeymoon and it did not disappoint. The price was a bit much, but for such a special time I felt it was worth it at the time I booked, and worth it it certainly was. beautiful, quiet, serene, it was perfect for a getaway. I would absolutely recommend, and I already have, this stay. 10/10

Everything was as described! Very tranquil setting. Loved sitting on both the sunporch and deck watching the boats go by. The house was immaculate and very well equipped. NIce to relax without the distraction of tv for a change. Enjoyed their Bose radio.. Also the verizon phone /computer connection was excellent. It was a great home base for exploring the mid coast of Maine. Lots of good restaurants near by and the owner offered many heloful hints as to what to see, where to est and what to do. His communication was excellent. Would highly recommend this rental.

My wife and I completely enjoyed our stay at Ani’s place. She literally thought of everything any guest could ever want. Beautiful surroundings…walking distance to the Fish Ladder….a couple of miles to all the restaurants downtown. And the place itself is immaculate. The kitchen was perfect for eating in every night. This place is an absolute no-brainer to rent and we can’t wait to return!!!

My husband and in-laws and I and our two dogs stayed for a long MDW. The weather did not cooperate but did not hinder us. Especially staying at this Airbnb on the beautiful Oxbow Brewing property. In fact the coziness of the space made a rainy day even more fun. We were visiting for the racetrack and location was excellent for privacy and also close to local attractions. Wish we had more of a group to experience the space with us, it was really special!

We had a great stay at Sumners place. It's location is very cool being right downtown but at the same time it is quiet and peaceful. He has it set up with everything you need and more. We appreciated his friendliness and great communication!

Enjoyed our stay so much! Nestled into a picturesque and quiet town. Super easy to get to and from Portland without having to stay in the hustle and bustle of staying directly downtown. The house itself is charming and clean. Felt like we were coming back to our own home every night after exploring Portland and the surrounding cities. Plus, the banana bread was such a sweet and thoughtful touch. 10/10 would recommend to anyone!

We had a great time here, beautiful place, well-equipped. Very clean and comfortable, I loved the plants both inside and out. Hot water came up quickly, didn't run out, and the shower was strong. Used the kitchen for breakfasts and some dinners - had a tea kettle, coffee pot, and pans/knives/cutting boards - all the comforts of home. Central location, and the loaner State Park pass was great! One day we visited Portland and Two Lights State Park to the south, another we went to Georgetown and Reid State Park to the north. Walking distance to restaurants in pretty downtown Bath, and the neighborhood was quiet. There's a thorough guest book with recommendations and ideas of things to do, and Erika was quick to respond when I asked for a good place to buy oysters/seafood. Pretty yard, even in Oct some plants blooming. I enjoyed sitting on the deck to read in the sunshine. We hope to come back here to stay, very happy with the experience - comfortable and homey.

Boo and Jonathan’s place is the definition of “the perfect air bnb”. This place truly felt like home - it was well designed, inviting, and charming. The small details (such as the delicious homemade pumpkin bread), the cozy blankets, fresh flowers and binder of local recommendations were all noticed and appreciated. We had the most wonderful stay - thank you!

Beautiful, quaint spot! We had a very quick stopover but it was perfect! We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub after a long day on the road. Would definitely recommend Ren’s place!

We absolutely loved our stay here! The location was perfect, right in town and right by the water. Lissette was very attentive, gave us a coupon for the place we were going to dinner in town, and then we mentioned we were wanting to do a bonfire and she started it for us! We loved sitting on the private dock and enjoying the river views and being able to walk to get breakfast, lunch, or dinner in town. Highly recommend staying here!

We enjoyed our stay at Spencer’s place. It was very convenient to Bowdoin College where we were attending multiple events.

I cannot say enough about Emily's place. My wife and I needed a place to stay for one night to attend a function in Bath. The place was more than charming with every little detail well thought out. Next time we will need to stay longer and do more in the area. We highly recommend Emily's place, walking distance to the downtown area, clean, comfortable, spacious and as I said earlier charming as all get up!

We had a great stay at Tysons place. Its a perfect location, only like 5-10 minutes drive from Old Port. The home is clean and beautiful. Street parking was super easy. Always space right on the side of the home. Each room has its own A/C. Would definitely recommend staying at Tysons place!

Great place! Close to the beach. Easy and fast communication when we needed to specify parking questions.

You cannot beat the location with this rental. We love coming to Willard Beach with our pup, and when our old go-to BNB stopped renting we were so worried we wouldn’t find another. But this condo worked out so perfectly in terms of location (across the road from both Scratch Bakery and Willard Scoops, comfortable walk to the beach with several entrance options) and the actual comfort of the condo itself. The proximity to the beach was really a plus for us, as we didn’t have to get up as early to make the dog friendly beach hours! Host is responsive, and any household items (eg. soap, coffee filters) that were missing from the condo we could easily run down to get from Hannaford. The downsides: It is on a second floor walk up, which may be challenging for those with mobility issues. Hand railing is odd too. Bit pricey, couldn’t swing a full week this time around as the price shot up dramatically when I added Friday to the duration. But overall, really lovely!

We’ve stayed here 3x so far and will always come back. This place is such a unique stay with live music right below. You can open the balcony doors and see and hear the ocean. The home is always clean and feels very homey. We truly love it here and will always choose to stay at this airbnb.

Michael's place was perfect for our group of 7. Well equipped kitchen (even has a citrus squeezer!). The living room has a nice big couch which was great for us to all hang out at. We were able to fit 3 cars in the driveway with no issues. The best part is how walkable it is from lots of great places in Portland! Overall, we would recommend this place to others.
