Holiday rentals with a kayak in Southwest Rural District

It was a great place with a lot of amenities. An older house that has been updated with care. The town was very user friendly and even in the winter there are many activities to keep busy without having to stand in line. Highly recommend St Andrew by the Sea.

Kelley was pleasure to deal with, and very responsive. The property was as described, very scenic and comfortable with everything we needed. We were there to celebrate a family birthday and there was plenty of room for 10 of us. Thank you for sharing your lovely property.

Tally’s Lake House is an absolute gem! From the moment we arrived, we were taken in by the serene beauty of the lake and the cozy charm of the home. The house was spotless, beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Waking up to the view of the water and enjoying morning coffee on the deck felt like a dream. You can tell a lot of care has gone into making this space welcoming. We left feeling refreshed and already planning our return. If you’re looking for a tranquil getaway in a truly beautiful setting, this is the place. Highly recommend!

Five stars plus!!! Lisa was an excellent host. She communicated clear check-in instructions, provided various local recommendations, followed up after we arrived, and gave us several very thoughtful welcoming gifts. Lisa's place is spotlessly clean, felt like home, and has an absolutely gorgeous view. The deck is perfect for a morning coffee or evening beverage. Walks on the beach right out the back yard felt like having the ocean all to myself.

Lisa’s place was so beautiful n cozy, has everything you need for a staycation. I love that it’s right near the water n have full access. I would recommend this stay to anyone who needs a relaxing stay.

Elizabeth’s property and the experience with her was great. She was very responsive with clear instructions and help. The home and property was absolutely beautiful, tons of space and clean.

Annabelle is such a wonderful host. She is incredibly hospitable, kind, flexible and generous. Her place is exquisite and immaculately cared for. The scenery is stunning and the amenities were perfect. The hot tub was lovely. This place is like a little piece of paradise.

Beautiful house on a beautiful property! Loved the view. House looks just like the pictures! Very clean. Host did a great job. Stayed here as a getting ready space for our wedding, the perfect place :)

Everything you could need for a peaceful and fun lake front property. perfect outdoor seating areas, deck, kayaks and SUP board, BBQ and so much more! Thank you Shannon for the perfect get away! Rachel was so kind and even had a card and treat waiting for us once we arrived. Everything was perfect! Beautiful scenery and right on the lake. There are only two things I would note. There isn’t a microwave just and the shower fluctuates from hot to cold randomly.

We had such a nice stay at the Hideaway Cottage! I travelled with friends, the cottage was spotless and very comfortable. Shauna was an excellent host, she provided all the information we needed . We enjoyed the hottub! What a peaceful getaway. I highly recommend this spot.

It was the perfect place to celebrate my 40th birthday weekend with a few friends! Right from the start we were made to feel welcome with a welcome basket with everything we needed for smores including fire starters and sticks in addition to nice handwritten note. We all loved the cottage inside with more than enough room for both kids and adults to relax or play games, sleep and eat supper. Outside was also great with the bbq, fire pit, propane fire table, especially at night with the amazing stars!), yard games and of course the beautiful lake especially with the leaves at this time of year! We enjoyed the kayaks, paddle boards and a little swimming repeatedly including the last morning after the hosts graciously allowed us to check out a couple hour later! We, especially the kids, also enjoyed the visits from a very friendly pug the hosts had told us would likely drop by. All in all I highly recommend staying at Shore Thing Cottage! We will definitely consider coming back!

Superb hostess, very well appointed cottage from kitchen set up to bathroom. Excellent screened porch, great views of the lake from every window, loved the kayaks and canoes, firewood and fire ring, peanuts to feed the chipmunks- we can’t say enough about how lovely the cottage is and how much we enjoyed our stay!

This place is beyond words! Spent 4 days...booked 7 for next year. What a gem! Beachcombing, on your own private cove, the setting, the view... saw habour porpoise, seal, eagles and of course lots of deer. An incredible getaway to disconnect. Only wanted to stay longer! The place is simply perfect! Even the fog is fascinating and atmospheric. Never slept better! Thanks Ashley! Much appreciated...see you next year Deer Island and Chocolate Cove! Sherry was a wonderful host and her place was very comfortable and cute. We were looking forward to enjoying some more outdoor activities, but due to the weather we had to shift some plans and Sherry provided unique projectors which my daughters enjoyed. It was such a cozy place to stay and our family really enjoyed our time despite the weather.. Thank you Sherry!

The cottage was in a very peaceful, beautiful setting. The place was clean and was perfect. The host, Kaylie, was very detailed and responsive to messages. Was worth it!

Karen and Ben were the best hosts ever. They put so much care and attention to the little things that make a place feel like home. From the spare toothbrush and Ziploc bags to the tackle and rods. What was even more amazing was their rescue without hesitation. We were stranded in Fredericton with a flat and they not only picked us up that night but brought us around and back to town in the morning for our repairs. Gracious, caring, proactive and authentic are but a few words that can describe the hosts and lake house. Thank you for making us feel like we were staying with family.
