Holiday rentals with lake access in Spartanburg County

Libby was an incredible host who made this the very best Airbnb experience we’ve ever had. And we’ve been to several over the years in the US and Europe. The house is centrally located and easy to find yet peaceful beautifully landscaped. It was quite thoughtfully furnished and makes you feel comfortable from the minute you walk through the front door, especially with the lovely welcoming note tucked into a crate of family-sized yummy snacks greeting you the minute you walk in. It’s truly a cook’s kitchen with excellent pots & pans, utensils, a plethora of small appliances and hard working major appliances. Lots of nice dishes, glasses and serveware were put to good use. We even made the icing and decorated my daughter’s wedding cake there with everything we needed (besides an offset spatula and turntable we brought!) The extra large dining room easily accommodated our extended family meals and we enjoyed the dock, canoe and floats. Truly a wonderful place!! Book it and enjoy!

My husband and I stayed at Allison's beautiful home for my birthday. The house was amazing and fully stocked with everything we needed and then some. The yard was beautiful. The dock and the boat ramp made it extremely nice and relaxing. We absolutely loved our stay. We cannot wait to come back. Everything was wonderful and Allison was very gracious and quick to respond to my correspondence. Definitely a gem!

Great place to stay on the lake! We loved the decks, dock, and peaceful surroundings. We had young adults and grandparents with us. Everyone enjoyed this place and it was easy to spread out for our own space. Chris was quick to respond and friendly. Would highly recommend this place.

Wonderful home & location! My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our trip. Lots of space for us to all have our own rooms/beds. Very clean and comfortable. Loved our days in the pool and evenings outside enjoying a fire. The only downside is, Lake Bowen requires a boat permit for recreational use and it is quite pricey. There are motor restrictions as well, so unfortunately, we hauled our boat from Florida & couldn't use it on Lake Bowen. We did however drive to Lake Hartwell for the day, which wasn't ideal but we made it work. I would recommend this home to anyone looking to get away and disconnect with friends or family. Quiet, peaceful & beautiful!

I would recommend this to anyone looking for a serene escape. The home was exactly as pictured and we really enjoyed our stay. Would love to come back sometime.

We'd highly recommend! Comfortable, relaxing and beautiful location on the lake. Alice was quick with a response for any questions that we had. We'll definitely rent location again anytime we're traveling in to see family.

Great place to stay on lake Bowen!

The living room has large windows that give you great views of the lake. The Bed was comfy and the water gets really hot; both of which are important to us. The kitchen was stocked with drinks and snacks. We got in late and wasn't able to go to the store until the next day so this was very much appreciated. And whenever we had a question the host was very responsive; 10 min or less. We would definitely recommend and stay again. Thank you for sharing your little slice of heaven.

This place was a great fit for my trip. Close to my purpose for the visit, away from noise, beautiful surroundings with the lake, open floor plan to be able to cook while watching some TV (my favorite way to wind down). Beds are comfy. Instructions and communication were clear. Will possibly need to come back for more family estate business closure, and will look for this place first!

I would HIGHLYYYY recommend this booking! Very clean space and the sheets are incredible! The mattress + soft sheets gave us the best sleep ever. I would book again and again in the future :)) Host is also very nice and responsive.

The cabin is beautiful and peaceful which is what our family was looking for. We enjoyed all of the amenities, and the kindness Michelle showed our family. It was clean and offered everything you needed to cook and enjoy your surroundings, even a BBQ and smoker. The beds were comfortable, and linens were good quality. Lots of extra towels if necessary. Thank you, Michelle. We enjoyed your lovely cabin in the woods.

Pepper's Place was perfect for our family of four for a short getaway in the greater Greenville area. The views of the lake were outstanding from the living room, deck, and primary bedroom, and we enjoyed swimming and paddling off the dock. The cottage was very clean and spacious with a great layout. Highly recommended!

This is the second trip we have made to this location over the last couple years. The location right on Lake Bowen and the large screened porch make for a very peaceful and relaxing vacation! Very well maintained and owner is super helpful with instructions and helpful tips.

Debbie's lakeside retreat was a beautiful home away from home. It was the perfect size for 1-2 people and very well stocked (cooking essentials, grilling supplies, kayaking things, shampoo/conditioner, etc.). We LOVED having access to the lake and hanging out at the water. The area was very quiet and super relaxing. Also, the year round Christmas tree made me feel super cozy. Top tier air bnb.

This was my second visit to Marthas and once again it did not disappoint. This time we decided to book specifically for a father son fishing trip. We had a blast caught plenty bass blue gill and some catfish. I normally never catch any bass but they were pumping on my hook all weekend. Martha is always helpful very responsive and so polite she always leaves a little snack in kitchen when you enter. The furniture is cozy and very comfortable the setting is relaxing and beautiful view. The neighbors are polite great restaurants nearby and easy to drive to with many grocery stores close by the locals are so friendly and welcoming.
