It is a 30min drive to Highlands Motorsport Park, and one hour to both Queenstown and Wanaka.

We had a wonderful stay! Our hosts were welcoming and responsive to any questions we had. We felt right at home. The property itself is beautiful, thoughtfully designed, clean, and fully equipped with everything we needed to prepare our own meals. It struck the perfect balance: private and peaceful, yet just a short drive or bike ride to some good restaurants. We especially appreciated the little touches that made the space so comfortable. The highlight for my family was Rusty — the hosts’ friendly dog who quickly became a daily companion and source of joy for my child. Watching them play together was such a delight and added an unexpected charm to our visit. This was easily one of our favourite BnB experiences and we would not hesitate to return. Highly recommended for families looking for a restful, well-located getaway with heart.

Our second time using this home as our holiday base. The house is warm and has a nice homely feel, and is well set up for up to three couples or a family. Had everything we needed to make a 5 night stay very pleasant. Great Cafe within walking distance and well located for doing the Dunstan cycle trail. Would use this home when and if we go back to Cromwell.

Numerous restaurants and bars nearby Good local bus link to Queenstown if you didn’t feel like driving , and of course scenery to die for. Beautiful immaculate Loft barn apartment with views of the countryside out to the lake. Loved staying here as peaceful and so relaxing sitting with wood fireplace each evening. Lovely well appointed kitchen too. Favourite accommodation thus far in all NZ travels and wished it was a longer stay. Will definitely try to return and stay again. Highly recommend. Lucie is a great host who was friendly and responsive.
