Holiday houses in Guernsey

We had a great stay for work and holiday. Good location for catching buses to get around the island. Lovely accommodation, really clean and comfortable and has everything you could need. The welcome pack is very generous and very welcome! The sourdough and cookies are delicious! Thanks for being great hosts. :)

We had a magnificent stay. Klaus made us feel right at home, we enjoyed some drinks together as he explained the hiking routes, places to eat, etc. We loved the the summer house we stayed in, it was well-equipped and comfy, leaving nothing to the imagination. And self-built, really cool. We enjoyed fresh eggs every day and whenever we needed some help, he was always at hand. Couldn’t recommend this place enough, it made our already fun trip even better :-)

We had a fantastic stay at Liz's two-bedroom apartment in Guernsey from Friday to Monday! From the moment we arrived, it was clear that cleanliness is a top priority, which we really appreciated. The kitchen was absolutely spotless and incredibly well-stocked with everything we could possibly need – it made self-catering a breeze. We were especially touched by the thoughtful touches Liz left for us: a delicious fruit loaf with butter and milk in the fridge was such a welcoming gesture, perfect for a hot drink after our journey. The bathroom was also spotlessly clean, with plenty of fresh towels available. It's clear that Liz takes great pride in her property, and it really made a difference to our comfort. We had a wonderful, hassle-free stay and would highly recommend Liz's apartment to anyone visiting Guernsey. The photos of the property do not do it justice. Michael + Megan 🙂

The Lodge was the perfect base for our stay in Guernsey. It is light, airy and warm with excellent facilities. Julie has provided everything that could be required. The welcome pack was most thoughtful with local produce including milk, butter and cheese, and and even the dogs had treats. The location is only a short drive from St Peter Port and access to the rest of the island is simple, with local shops and pubs within easy reach. The garden, which has views over a private field, is lovely to sit in and relax. Julie is a kind and considerate host and the Lodge is a super place to stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and strongly recommend it.

Great base to explore Guernsey from. Peaceful spot. Easy check in and Jeremy very prompt with replies. Lovely to arrive to some thoughtful essentials as well. Thanks for a great stay.

We had a fantastic time at this property, the hosts were super friendly and welcoming. we really couldn’t fault it. It suits us to stay in quiet places and we love walking, so we walked to town and got a taxi back, quite easily, from the town taxi rank. If you prefer to take a bus, they are easy to navigate on the Guernsey bus app and run from the hospital ( which is very nearby) into ST Peterport, the fare is £1.60. We will return to little Gem !
