This apartment is connected to my main home here in Eastpoint, FL: The Gateway to SGI! It is situated in the center of Franklin County which makes it an ideal spot to visit Apalachicola, St. George Island, or Carrabelle. This property is located 6 miles from the main public beach on SGI, almost a straight shot across the bridge. I am happy to welcome all guests to my own little Taradise on "The Forgotten Coast"!
“The house was extremely clean and had nice amenities. The only two points that I think are worth noting are that the bed isn’t extremely quiet. I move around a lot when I sleep, and the bed squeaked a decent amount, and make sure you turn the porch lights on if you’re going to be back in after dark. There aren’t street lights, and it was pretty dark the first night I returned to the property. I would definitely stay again, this is probably the cleanest Air BNB I’ve ever stayed in.”
Apalachicola is a charming town and very much pet friendly. Our suite is too and perfect for your quick weekend getaway or even a long stay trying to get away from your cold cold winter ☺️ You will love our town! Come visit.
“Wonderful spot in Apalachicola! We were in town for a wedding on St. George Island (just a short 30 minutes away) and we were very pleased! The beds were comfortable, the space was clean, and the temperature was perfect to cool us town on the hot days. Would definitely stay here again!”

“This place is a FIND! It is 100 times better than the pictures. It is "third tier" from the gorgeous gulf St. George Island beach (ie - you walk past two other homes to get to the beach, and cross one street.) There is a great deck that overlooks the sea that has chairs and a table and umbrellas. So yes, you can sip your coffee and watch the ocean. The deck is much cozier than it appears in the photos. Things that may be obvious to some, but travelers who are choosing a place may need to know: (1) this is a beach house that is on stilts. You must go up a flight of steps to hit the front door. (2) the "master" bedroom (king bed, private bath) is in a loft that overlooks the living room. Therefore, the master bedroom has no door and is missing a wall. (One can change without the living room seeing, but there is no door to keep little ones from barging in.) This not only affects privacy but also the loft overlooks the living room area that houses a FANTASTIC large tv with Netflix and all the goodies, so if someone wants to stay up at night and watch t.v. in the living room, the persons in the loft must be on board. (3) we stayed during peak COVID, which meant we had to bring our own blankets (this was a requirement, fantastic Molcie had no choice.) A house full of blankets take up a lot of space in a car. However, St. George Island is a great place to go during COVID because there are NO crowds on those beaches and social distancing is easy. I would absolutely stay here again. It's unbelievable how sandy beach houses can get, but that place was spotless when we "moved in" -- don't know how they did it, but they did! Little extras like beach umbrellas, chairs, toys, roller cart that come with the house really made the trip to the beach extra fun and reduced hassle considerably. Thank you, Molcie, for sharing your home!”
