The community, then called Camp Gordon Johnston, was set near the beautiful beaches of the gulf coast, and St George Island, for easy access during training for the D-Day invasion! It is situated conveniently between the fresh, upscale town of Appalachacola, and the scenic state parks of Wakula Springs. This spacious bungalow, located in Lanark Village, is only 10 minutes from the entrance to Carrabelle Beach and 30 minutes from the white sandy beaches of St. George Island and the beautiful town of Apalachicola. Next door to Lanark Village is a boat dock, convenience store and country club with bar/restaurant. Carrabelle also has a boat dock, marina, restaurants, and shops. Sun, sand, seafood, and relaxation at your door!

Kids can find marine life in the tidal pools while everyone can fish, swim and walk along the sandbar. Two kayaks are provided for your enjoyment. Inside the house you will have a well equipped kitchen and comfortable living space with amazing views of the bay. Sit on the porch with a glass of wine and watch the dolphins.

Nested 2 blocks from Apalachicola Bay, 10 minutes from the Apalachicola River and 10 minutes from St George island, our cozy cottage is a new build that has all of the comforts of home. Four adults can stay comfortably with 2 very comfortable beds and 1 bathroom. We also have a fold out cot perfect size for a child. Our home is in a very quiet neighborhood located on a cul-de-sac and is a short driving distance from fishing, hunting, shopping and sight- seeing adventures.
