Spectacular sea views in quaint Kalk Bay

The sea views from our airbnb suite (2 bedrooms and a lounge) are fabulous. Behind us is the mountain reserve and in front lies the wide expanse of False Bay. Down below on the rocks is a natural tidal pool, safe for swimming. We are close to Kalk Bay fishing harbour, the quaint Kalk Bay village, several other tidal pools (perfect for cold swimmers!) and Fishhoek & Muizenberg beaches. We have newly renovated and enlarged our Airbnb space which is now separate from our living space and private.

Hideaway nestled between beach and mountain

This little studio apartment is in a beautiful garden setting on the lower mountain slopes of Muizenberg. It has a bedroom, bathroom, living room and small kitchen with a one-plate conduction stove, and other essentials. The Muizenberg surfing beach is a 10-15 minute walk away. Beautiful coastal and mountain walks are easily accessible, as are local shops, restaurants and cafes. The popular Bluebird neighbourhood market is a great place to sample locally made food, beers and wine on a Friday.

Cape Point Mountain Getaway - Cottage

This is one of Cape Town's environmental and historic treasures. It is a candle-lit hideaway with stunning views of mountain and sea. The Cottage is completely off grid, with fresh water coming off the mountain and energy from the sun. The cottage is built from local materials - stone walls, reed ceilings, blue gum supports. There are glass doors and windows throughout the cottage. The cottage has a beautiful open-plan bedroom and bathroom. The bathroom includes a tub, a toilet and a basin.

The Clivia Cottage sits in a gorgeous setting on a mountain slope, close to Kalk Bay Village, and part of Silvermine Nature Reserve. Nestled within wild peach & olive trees, in a garden alive with flowers & sunbirds. This petit cottage is comfortable, charming & tastefully furnished. It is in walking distance to the Clovelly Golf Course, & the lovely Clovelly Beach. Fitted with a kitchenette, the Clivia Cottage is ideal for the solo traveller - to rest, refresh & explore the Cape Peninsular.

Marina da Gama is close to the famous surfer beach of Muizenberg , the pittoresk Kalkbay , on the way to Cape Point or the Winelands driving along the ocean beaches of False Bay. Driving to Town is uncomplicated and takes 20 min.
