Cottage holiday rentals in St. Mary's County

Hays Beach House was the perfect home base for my group of 10 sailors. We were able to comfortably sleep, relax in the hot tub, and cook enough to feed a small army. The beds are comfy, the kitchen is well stocked, and the sunrises here are stunning. Tim is a friendly and helpful host and overall the experience was nothing but pleasant.

Emilio and Wanda’s home was absolutely lovely. They thought of everything to make our stay so enjoyable. Would recommend to anyone wanting a relaxing stay. So very close to Solomon’s Island. Thank you Emilio and Wanda!

The house is amazing; it is right on the water. We had a great time. There is not much around to visit, so if you like to dine out, it might not be your perfect place. But for a family weekend/week to relax and have fun, I 100% recommend it.

This lake house was such a relaxing place to stay! Had everything we needed and then some. It’s a bit of a hill to climb to get back to the house from the lake but not terrible. The beach recommendations were great! We found a ton of shark teeth and the kids really enjoyed themselves.

This place was great! The secret beach was outstanding. Just what my family was looking for. We spent each day by the water, enjoying the surroundings, and having fun together. There are a few beach toys and beach chairs available which we took advantage of, and enjoying using the kayaks when the bay was calm. We shared nice meals at the large dining room table inside, as well as on the deck. Overall, a wonderful play to relax and reconnect.

The cottage was great. It was exactly we needed. We enjoyed going go Flag Ponds and searching for sharks teeth on the beach

The property itself was absolutely beautiful, with a rustic charm that made it feel cozy and welcoming. The house was clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We truly enjoyed our time here and would absolutely stay again. Highly recommend!

Fantastic stay! Quiet getaway which was exactly what I was looking for. House was fully stocked with all the amenities listed and so much better in person! The sunsets were epic! Cam was very helpful with providing things to do in the area which was fun to explore! I will certainly be back again.

My bf and I celebrated our first year anniversary there and it couldn’t have been a more perfect spot for us. We loved the views, restaurants, locals, fishing, and looking for beach glass. We felt right at home. Lee was a great host and very personable. We were sad to leave and definitely will be returning! We definitely fell in love with the area!

Renting from Kelli was a breeze and we had a fantastic weekend renting this adorable home! It was everything we were hoping it would be and more! With having 2 small children, Kelli was very accommodating to them and did some minimal baby-proofing which was such a big help. The home was very clean and we felt super comfortable and at home as soon as we walked in. 5 STARS!

This was the best family getaway we had in years. Beautiful property with amazing access to nature. Host was very responsive and available. Will definitely come back!

We loved our stay here! It had everything we needed for the beach and some toys for our toddler. The house is well kept and it even has a small wired fenced yard that was perfect for our two dogs. The beach was smaller than I realized but super relaxing and ended up being a good size for us. Pool access was also appreciated. Would definitely consider coming back!

Chris and his Co-hosts were super communicative throughout our teams entire stay. Our workers were able to enjoy the cottage in a quiet neighborhood and were even able to meet Chris. Super attentive with clear instructions and plenty of amenities available. Thank you so much for your hospitality and thank you for sharing a moment with the guys!

As always, just an awesome getaway! The minute I pull up to the cottage and look out at the water, any stress just disappears. I’ve been coming here for a number of years and Angela and her cottage are second to none!! Angela is a wonderful host and provides great directions and recommendations and the cottage is just perfect. Thank you Angela for having this little gem!!!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home. The location has breathtaking waterfront views and spectacular sunsets. Very quiet and peaceful neighborhood. The inside was immaculate and equipped with everything we needed. We really appreciated all the extras provided. Charming coastal decor throughout. We had a hiccup checking in but the situation was remedied quickly.

We were in town for a swim meet, and Greg’s place was perfect for our crew! We all slept soundly in the comfortable beds. We cooked every meal in the fully stocked kitchen. The view, the walk to the adorable little beach, and the peaceful surroundings were a bonus we had not experienced before during past trips! Greg is extremely responsive and helpful. We would absolutely book again!

My friends and I immediately felt relaxed and cared for in this delightful home. We loved that it was right on the water and that we could enjoy seeing the Potomac River from so many rooms. The beds were very comfortable. Sue is a thoughtful and very pleasant host. We enjoyed our stay very much.

This place was exactly what my partner and I needed to rest and relax and spend quality time. The private beach made us feel like we were on our own resort. The home itself has even more comfort and amenities than you see in the pictures. Beautiful furnishings, clean, full of light. The main bedroom is upstairs and is positioned towards the beach so you can enjoy the most beautiful sunrise without leaving your bed and hear the waves while you sleep. The balcony off the bedroom is another great seating area if you’re looking for quiet time. There is a super comfy couch in the living room which makes it a great place to relax and watch tv or play games. There are some games available at the house. bikes and kayaks. We spent a nice day lounging on the beach chairs and on the porch chairs before making dinner, didn’t need to bring kitchen supplies since most were available. Did bring own spices. Tim was great and all his tips and info pre arrival were super helpful. We’ll definitely return

If you're looking for a peaceful, quiet, and cozy place to stay, while fishing and crabbing, this is the cottage to stay in. We enjoyed our time there, experiencing the waters from the backyard pier, and exploring the local stores, and enjoying the quiet nights. It's a nice little spot to get away.

This is a great place if your family is looking for a beach get away. The fishing pier is large and can accommodate multiple fishing poles. The crabbing was also great! We caught so many crabs that we had crabs everyday. The large dining table and screened porch was perfect for family lunches/dinners. Rangeley (host) was also very responsive and made sure our stay was comfortable. I would highly recommend this place!
