Cozy and modern cabin by the lake in the fishing village Stamsund. Many hiking opportunities, alpine facilities and illuminated trails in the immediate vicinity. Two grocery stores within walking distance, one of which is open on Sundays, as well as a gas station. In Stamsund you will find cozy cafes, a yoga center and several art galleries. Stamsund is located in the middle of Lofoten. Leknes is 10-15 minutes away. An hour's drive north is Svolvær, and an hour and a half south is Reine/Moskenes. Short distance to the popular beaches Haukland, Uttakleiv and Unstad.

It is located at the end of the road and therefore there is no car traffic past the cabin! Here you can enjoy the tranquility and the view, with sun from morning to evening🌞 Great opportunities to go mountain hiking nearby, or try your luck with fishing. Newly renovated winter insulated and child-friendly house on stilts. Our lovely cabin is located in historic Kræmmervika in Ballstad. Ballstad is a lively fishing village in beautiful Lofoten. The cabin is 120 years old and totally renovated and has all modern facilities and yet the historical charm. There is a new bathroom and a new large kitchen with dishwasher. You only have to walk a few meters along the quay and you will find a good restaurant that is open during the summer season. Right outside the door you will find beautiful hiking terrain waiting...

The popular Hauklandstranda is about 15 minutes from the rudder arch. Playing city, airport and short distance freeway to the rudder arch. If you want to try your luck in the fishing Vestfjorden, it is possible to rent a boat. In the months Jan-April the famous Lofotfisket is ongoing, and you can experience this fishing at Ballstad, which is one of Lofoten's largest and viable fishing weather.

From 5/20 - 9/2. 18-foot Hansvik with 30 hp Honda engine. Echo sounder and chart plotter in the boat. Life jackets are included. NOK 600 per day. See pictures. My place is near the sea, family-friendly activities, nightlife, nature and the airport. You will love my place because of the view, the location and the atmosphere. One can enjoy the silence. My place is good for couples, traveling alone, business travelers and families (with children). We generally close the cabin in the winter, but if you would like to visit Lofoten in the winter, please send us a request and we can discuss.
