We had the most wonderful, peaceful, serene stay at Baboon's View Cabin. We are so grateful, and we will be back!

The house had everything you need from toddler to adult very accommodating(books to board games), and the views were refreshing from the deck to the top of the hiking trail. The hosts were incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. We especially enjoyed the thoughtful gifts of wine and apples, they were such a lovely touch! To top it all off, we had a fantastic time relaxing in the cold pool and hot tub. We’re already looking forward to our next. visit!

We had a perfect stay at Debbie's Fish Eagle cottage. The cottage is beautifully appointed, clean and comfortable. The hot tub was a win. We loved being so deep in nature. The dam was perfect for us to paddle on. Debbie and James her assistant were friendly and helpful. It was a slice of heaven. Thankyou for the perfect getaway.

Thank you so much for just an amazing weekend stay. 🥰 it was such a beautiful accommodation, the view is amazing, and just the overall atmosphere is exceptional. We will Def be back in next few months. ☀️☀️

Lovely location right by the beach with loads of shops and restaurants nearby. The house was lovely and very clean, had all the basics and is surrounded by other residence but still very secluded which we loved. Nolene was very friendly and helpful from beginning to end.

We had a wonderful stay at Rolling Hills. The cottage is quaint, with an absolutely stunning view. Justin was an amazing host always on hand for anything we needed. Will definitely return.

a great house in a wonderfully quiet area. perfectly and very tastefully furnished. a few minutes from the beach. with a bit of luck you can watch zebras from your bedroom in the morning ... hildegarde and thys are wonderful and helpful hosts. we would love to come back ...

This place was a big "WOW" My little family and I spent the weekend of the 9th May 2025 at Carolas cabins. This place is honestly amazing, the moment we arrived we felt so welcomed by Carola and the rest of her staff.Her hospitality is 1000% awesome, the place itself is so beautiful and extremely clean, everything you need is available like I mean everything. We enjoyed seeing all the animals while walking around in the morning. The horses are so cute:).The braai section was very clean athe pool was amazing. My daughter just kept wanting to go back to the pool. It was raining the weekend we were there but we really enjoyed the relaxing peaceful nature and quietness around us.Carola is the most amazing host. She has the biggest heart.She heard it was my birthday and blessed me with a cake, chocolates and a bottle of champagne.We throughly enjoyed Carola's hospitality and did not want to leave. My daughter aged 4 years, asked if we can stay there forever. Thank you again Carola!

Good stay, cottage had all the essentials for self catering stays. Marc also provided a clothes airier which was not in the cottage.

Spent a wonderful few days on Swayneskloof Farm. Lea, the Owner, is super friendly and inviting. She met us upon check-in and gave us the lay of the land. Farm was easy 2 find. A rustic renovated farmers cottage with everything required for a comfortable stay. Pristine, new crisp bedding with electric blankets.Fully kitted kitchen. Beautiful green setting with a splash pool and river to entertain. We took a hike on the farm to see the zebras. My 2 Boston terriers had a field day exploring. We could hear the lions roar on queue every morning and evening on the neighbouring farm, Cornellskop, which is an animal sanctuary. Overall, a stellar stay. We will be back.

Beautiful place to stay with lots to do. The farm is great for hiking, running and cycling but also just to enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

Beautiful cabin with spectacular views. Hennie was a fantastic host who was very flexible and had fast, responsive communication. The cabin was clean, spacious and homely, with an incredible decking with views across False Bay. Around a 30 minute walk to Gordon’s Bay which was convenient, would definitely stay again next time we’re in South Africa!

Thera was such a wonderful host, so friendly and helpful, and she made us feel so comfortable and at home in her beautiful garden cottage. The perfect place for a break from the city, Thera had put so much thought into making the space as relaxing as possible. Try and book on a rainy day, the sound of the rain on the roof was such a treat, and the cottage stayed warm and cosy.

Super cosy spot and the central indoor burner makes a focal point and warms the whole place. Basic, but lovely and manageable and not far from beach. Would benefit from a kol-kol or a nice bathtub.

We enjoyed a lovely two days at Lika's spot. She was very welcoming and helpful, and was very kind to let us check in earlier than normal because the house was ready for us. Thank you for the lovely, peaceful stay.

Great spot, very quiet and the fire pit outside is awesome for an evening braai.

Bonnie and David were such lovely hosts. A very warm and friendly couple. It felt like a home away from home. The cabin was so cozy and don’t even get me started on the garden. Absolutely stunning! It felt as though we were out in nature. An absolute gem. Definitely a go to when in Somerset.

I went as a solo traveller and had such a lovely stay, the cabin is beautiful. I really liked the screeching wooden floors :) You really feel like you away from everything , it's the best place to unwind. The view from the deck was magnificent, I really enjoyed my braais from there in the evening. The host went over and above to provide everything you may need. Even some delicious filter coffee and a bottle of wine on arrival. He took myslef and another guest to the local restaurant WOW , never seen something like it. Be sure to pack enough food for your stay as there are cafe's nearby but it's a bit of a offroad (yet decent offroad) to the shops. If you'd like to get away from the busy city life, this is the place

As everyone says the deck is really the most magnificent feature, that view is spectacular and it is beautiful from sun up to sun down. We had a lovely, relaxing stay, we took our kayaks and loved spending time on the lagoon, it was so nice to have such a long stretch to kayak on which feels unusual so close to Cape Town. We enjoyed being able to paddle to the beach and then go for a walk by the sea. The cabin was as described, cosy, simple and comfortable with leather couches and a great layout. Marieke responded quickly to questions and provided detailed info on the house so things felt clear and easy. Thank you Marieke for a lovely stay!
