Rochester House is near restaurants, trails, family-friendly activities, and lake beaches. It's convenient to many destinations, including, Hill Farmstead, Caspian Lake (beach) and Craftsbury. A short walk to the Farmer's Market, grocery stores, and most village restaurants. Downtown is .7 miles, 15 min walk. This may be too far in winter. There is a city plowed sidewalk all the way during snow season if needed. House of Pizza is only 2 blocks. We are in the village, please respect neighbors.

Access the vast majority of our historic Stowe area land -- from our apple orchards to our extensive walking paths in fields and woodland. Outside you'll find a sweet fire pit with a woodshed filled to the brim and an outdoor shower and bike wash!

This magical Lodge is on 100 acres of farmland with an amazing view of the White Mountains of NH and multiple amenities. It is operated on solar power with a backup generator. We don't live at this property, it is entirely yours during your visit. A secluded retreat minutes away from modern amenities! NEW FOR 2021: Upgraded Solar, generator, heating, kitchen and windows. NOTE- Our Lodge is closed from Dec. 1 to May 1.
