Self-contained Annex Studio Flat

The accommodation consists of a double bedroom with French doors opening onto a nice big garden. There is a fully fitted kitchen and a small bathroom with walk-in shower. Broadband, TV, fridge, washing machine and drier are all included. It is about 50 yards from Egham station which has regular trains to London, the journey taking about 40 minutes. The train goes to Waterloo Station which is very close to the London Eye and Westminster, with Buckingham Palace, St James Park, Trafalgar Square a short walk away. Heathrow Airport is 5 or 6 miles away. Egham is a small town, but it has some historic interest in that the Magna Carta was signed at Runnymede down the road by the river in 1215. Not far away is Windsor castle and Eton (where princes William and Harry, and David Cameron went to school). There is also some lovely countryside around and lovely walks.

I had a long layover in London and I’m so happy to have booked Manny’s place! Check in was quick and easy, Manny gave me the tour, and it was just as described :) The bed was comfy, and I didn’t even hear Manny leave in the morning (thank you for being so quiet!). I felt very safe as a solo traveler, and was so grateful for the 15 minute uber to the airport (so close!!)

I stayed at Kam’s place for just one night before a very early flight from London to Dublin, and it couldn’t have been a better choice. Kam greeted me warmly at the door, helped with my bags, and gave me a quick tour of the space. I instantly felt at ease—it’s much more spacious than the photos suggest, and had everything I needed for a short, restful stay. What stood out most was Kam’s genuine care for his guests. He kindly reminded me to be mindful of others during my 4am departure, which I truly appreciated. It showed just how much thought he puts into creating a comfortable and respectful environment for everyone. Whether you’re arriving late, leaving early, or dealing with a travel delay, this is the perfect place to rest and recharge. Highly recommend!

Although very brief, I really loved my stay at the barn. Anna was so kind. She allowed me to check in late, as I am a carer for my elderly mother, and couldn’t leave Birmingham, until gone 8pm. The room was lovely. A real character room in a converted barn, with beautiful original oak beams. Anna was very welcoming, and helped me carry my bags upon arrival. I had the use of the kitchen for breakfast, but tea and coffee were also available in my room. There were thoughtful touches, such as the multi lead charger cables for all types of phone, meaning I did not need to bring my own charger. Finally, the bed was super comfortable, and there were feather pillows; which is something very important to me 😊 I hope I will be allowed to stay again.

I cannot recommend Su’s place enough for anyone needing a quick stay on their to the airport! From the warm welcome of her pets (who are adorable and calm), the personalised sign welcoming me into her home, the clear instructions of getting around, and the nearby food recommendations, Su’s place was so comfortable as a rest point before an early morning flight from Heathrow. Su was also so kind and lovely to chat to. Getting to the airport was incredibly easy, with the help of Su’s clear instructions on how to get to each terminal. Walking to the station in the early morning with my luggage was also very doable. Special mention to the extra comfortable bed and pillows, going to sleep was a dream! Thank you again Su.

Jimmy and Cheiniz are incredible hosts. Very friendly and really kind. They always made me feel welcomed and like I would feel at my own home. The house is beautiful, it got all the amenities and the room was perfect with perfect room. Plus it is close to the airport. Something good if you’re going to stay for a couple days or make a connection and just rest for your next flight. Would stay again!
