There is a large open green space right beside the home that runs throughout the neighborhood and downtown Star is within a few minutes walk of the home. This house was beautiful. We needed a place to call home for a couple of days at the end of a long journey. It’s a good 45 min ride from Boise but we wanted the neighborhood feel. It was a safe area and the garage parking was a bonus. There are lots of rooms and a great kitchen and back patio. The hot tub wasn’t ready to use at the time but the sauna was great. We enjoyed the game room and the natural light. Some light neighborhood noise from garage pick up and local lawn mowers is mild but not an issue. Clean and comfortable and lots of space. Great rental.

This place was better than the photos! Really comfortable and cozy. Perfect place for the business traveler or a couple looking for a quiet place to stay. The kitchen is always a very important part of where I stay and this one is well stocked and clean. I loved the vintage potato sacks used as decoration. I will definitely stay here again.

Barb & Bruce were absolutely lovely hosts! The cottage was beautiful and had every amenity we needed, and then some! The cleanliness was 100% - top notch clean! The property on which the home was located was gorgeous! It was so peaceful, quiet & just a wonderful place to be! Barb & Bruce were friendly, kind, attentive to our every need! We would be thrilled to stay at their place again!

Elaine and Tom made my stay in Eagle, ID very comfortable and pleasant. Their beautiful "Brookstone Cottage" was peaceful, clean, organized, well thought-out and stocked. These two Great Americans work hard to ensure their guests have what they need, when they need it. The photos and descriptions are exactly as advertised. Although I have been to 56 countries and all 50 states, this was my first experience with Airbnb. This place topped even some of the best Bed and Breakfasts I have been to in the USA, Europe and Asia. The biggest travel problem I will have from this point forward is trying to find a place as nice as "Brookstone Cottage." This will be very difficult to top. 5+ STARS out of 5. 10+ out of 10. A+ in every category.

We absolutely loved our 2-night stay in Eagle, ID! The photos were great, but the place is even better in person. It was clean, quiet, and spacious with beautiful interior design and a super comfy layout. It had everything we needed—beach and bath towels, soap, hair dryer, extra blankets, coffee, tea, free drinks, kitchen appliances—you name it! Truly felt like a home away from home. We loved being close to the playground and community pool. Parking was easy with space out front and in the garage. My toddler couldn’t get enough of the Pac-Man arcade game—such a fun touch! Highly recommend and would definitely stay again.
