Cabin holiday rentals in Star Valley Ranch

Tia was an amazing host and the house was PERFECT for our big family vacation! The house was furnished, bathrooms were spotless, the house was beautifully designed and with plenty to do like pickleball, hot tub, fire pit, trampoline, board games! Additionally, Tia was always available for contact and responsive with any questions that came up. She went over and above for our family and we’re so grateful!

Beautiful cabin in a beautiful area. Would definitely return to this area as well as this property. Palisades Reservoir is very large, and (at least during our stay in September) not at all busy. Usually on a lake that size, it's awfully busy with ski boat and not always SUP friendly. However, we paddled every day, rarely saw other boats at all, and always had plenty of open water to ourselves. What a treat. There are small towns ~15-20 to the north and the south. We did visit each. But we ended up cooking most meals at the cabin and enjoying that time much more than going into town. The cabin is easy to find and right off the main highway. The proximity to the lake is nice, but certainly comes with the tradeoff of hearing more road noise during the day. There were a few maintenance items not quite up to date at the cabin. But nothing that soured our stay at all. And all simple fixes that I'm sure the owner and/or manager will quickly fix.

The views from this cabin have my heart. Beautiful sights out the front and back. We hiked and fished and loved being in the mountains for a few days. What a delightful spot to be, we loved the fire pit and hot tub.

We loved our stay in Wyoming at this lovely home. Nothing like having my morning coffee on the deck, overlooking the mountains and listening to the stream. The kids loved the hot tub and my wife loved the home - she even gave me a big hug when we got inside and said “ you did a good job!” We enjoyed using the fire pit at night to cook s’mores and talk. The closest town for gas and groceries is about 20 minutes away. If you want to go to Yellowstone, know it’s about a 3.5 hour drive so it is a very long day and we did hit a deer coming back from the Grand Tetons one day around 8 pm so be careful driving.

This was a very nice home, and we enjoyed our stay! The view from the deck was gorgeous, and it was so peaceful sitting outside! Bring your sunscreen if you plan to sit outside because you will burn! We had three couples stay, and we each had our own spaces (level) with a bathroom on each floor, which was very nice! Easy to check in, host responded right away with questions. You will be driving up the hill/mountain so plan ahead and be prepared. You will definitely need a 4x4 vehicle. I could see it be very challenging to drive when they get a lot of snow. We stayed the last week in March and they did receive some snow before we arrived but the temps were great so it was all melting too. The road is gravel and there were potholes just make sure you follow the speed limit signs, as you get up to the driveway area the snow/mud can make it a bit challenging, again 4x4 is a must. We were able to park a vehicle in the garage, a truck outside and a truck/trailer in the driveway.

Awesome place to spend a weekend in the mountains. We used all the amenities… the grill, the hot tub, the games etc.

It was a pity we were not able to stay as long as we had hoped. I loved watching my kids run around and enjoy the farm life, even if only for one night.

Great, secluded place to have as a Basecamp for all of the outdoors spots in the area around Jackson, Snake river, and Palisades Res. if all of the coffee places are closed, there's one in the grocery store at snake river junction 30 minutes up the road.

A truly charming place to stay in a stunningly beautiful location. Everything is decorated with so much love and attention to detail. If you're looking for a peaceful spot to unwind, this is absolutely the right place. I highly recommend visiting—it’s an experience you won’t forget. Migle went above and beyond to make our stay as enjoyable as possible.

We came for our annual after Christmas vacation and this year we chose this cute cabin in the woods. We hoped for snow and boy did we get it!!! Our kids loved it. We saw deer walking the mountain in the snow from the windows, the lake view is gorgeous, and it had plenty of beds and bedrooms! As mentioned and the hosts were as helpful as can be, plus some, the driveway in the winter isn’t always accessible. The hosts did everything they could to get us and our luggage up to the cabin. We did also venture out a couple times to the Grand Tetons, Jackson, and down to Alpine for groceries. We loved that there was a Christmas tree and it was a great holiday getaway for our families. The cabin was stocked with spices and dry goods as well as cookware.

This home was comfortable and welcoming. Easy 2 couple home with 1 bedroom and bath downstairs and private. This is not a basement just an entry level bedroom . Neighborhood was quiet and easy to walk dogs. Many hiking opportunities close by to enjoy The mountainside rainbow and overnight snow dusting were bonuses!

Brown Trout cabin was just perfect for a little weekend getaway with my husband and dog. The cabin location is close to Idaho Falls and Jackson Wy, perfect for us. The amenities were sparse but the bed, bath and cabin were clean and comfortable.

What a beautiful home! The pictures don’t do it justice on how serene this location is. Jamie was a wonderful host, we had a lovely welcome gift, and loved the relaxing ambiance from the living room with lots of natural light and both fire pits were so lovely to spend some much needed time outdoors. I thoroughly enjoyed the company of the hummingbirds thanks to the feeders nearby and the lake view is so beautiful! We would definitely return again, highly recommended for your travels.

Everything was wonderful! Easy check in, Rick checked on us to see if we had any needs, everything worked , plenty of kitchenware, washer and dryer worked great! bathrooms and bedrooms were clean, beds were comfortable. The area was beautiful and relaxing! Would recommend definitely!!

We will definitely return. The staff were incredibly friendly. The cabin was perfect for 3 of us. My teenage boys loved it!

Deb’s cabin was beautiful! It is a smaller than it looks it in the photos, but it was super cozy and clean! We enjoyed our time there. Beautiful scenery.

The cabin was exactly as described. The pictures don’t do it justice. Super cute, clean, and comfortable. It’s about an hour to Jackson and the Tetons, but the drive was a very scenic drive so it didn’t feel like that.

Our group of 6 guys had a great stay here. It’s a beautiful house with a great layout. Everything was like new and super clean. Location is perfect for the Star Valley area. Basically in the middle of the N and S ends of the valley. Tyson was great with communication before and during our stay. ***Note for snowmobilers*** The house is located on a big hill and the driveway is steep with a pitch that is icy with snow cover. Parking a trailer in the driveway is not an option as there is not enough room and too steep. Trailers will need to be parked elsewhere (there are a couple options) and then drive your truck to the house.

Beautiful quiet cabin with wonderful views. It has a well equipped kitchen and great deck for relaxing. Vinnie is a great host and responds quickly...read the listing and follow instructions and you will have an enjoyable time.
