Holiday rentals with lake access in Starke County

Perfect location, space and amenities for a post prom weekend for 13 high school seniors and the organizers’ parents. Mat was so responsive and helpful; we would stay here again if we need this type of space. You won’t regret it!

GREAT place to stay! Had a reunion with some friends and it was just the place for us. Cozy and cabin type feel. Fit all of us well. Everything was clean and worked great. The outdoor area was perfect for yard games and spending some time on the lake. The living room was a great spot for us to play board games and catch up. Would definitely stay again! :)

This house was perfect for our Girls weekend away! House had everything we needed and the outdoor deck was so nice- we spent lots of time out there. We walked to the Brunch Pub for breakfast on Saturday as it was an easy mile walk. Love the location of this house and we will definitely return. Two things that really stuck out to me- the amount of towels. There were a very good amount of bathroom towels and beach towels. You don't always find that in every rental. The other thing I thought was super helpful was that the light switches were labeled and we didn't have to guess what switch went to what light. This might seem like a silly thing to comment on but I thought it was so helpful and was just an extra consideration that not all rental owners do. Really really enjoyed our visit to Hampton House.

Great location, comfy beds, nice bathrooms, new furniture, clean carpet, the lake was awesome! We came up for a reunion weekend at Culver, it was a short 14-minute drive to campus. We loved Bass Lake and the neighbors were friendly. We went for walks each morning and were greeted with "good morning" from everyone we passed by. There are two bars close by, one serves really good pizza. The house feels brand new inside, very cozy, and perfect for our group of two families. Great stay!

great place to stay looking forward to stay again

A true home away from home! They thought of everything a group might need during their stay at the lake and every piece of furniture was so comfy. Tons of toys for the little ones (including sand toys), and an entire second living area upstairs that the teens loved. If you forgot something I guarantee they have it there for you. They even left us an entire coffee cake from a local bakery, it was delicious and very thoughtful. We had guests of all ages and everyone had a wonderful time. Thank you so much, we will definitely be back!

What an absolutely lovely home right on Bass Lake! The location was perfect and the house itself was immaculate and perfect in every possible way. Lots of touches that put it above and beyond but my favorite part were the linens and pillows—so rare to sleep better away from home but it was incredibly comfortable.

Great little spot. Really loved the local coffee shop. Didn't spend much time in town, but drove to the national park instead. Great spot to save a little and still be able to enjoy the beach and parks.

Nada was great to work with. Anytime we had a question, she had the answer and responded professionally and promptly. The unit had a great view of the lake and easy access being on the first floor. Will look forward to booking this unit at the Culver Cove in the future.

Irene and Martin were very helpful and friendly. The place was cute and clean. It was exactly what I needed, peace and relaxation. The beach was a three minute walk and it wasn’t crowded. We brought firewood and outside by the fire pit there’s nice furniture and it feels like you’re in a little woodland area with nobody around.

It was an absolute BEAUTY of a stay. My husband and I literally booked it last minute. (1 hours before leaving) and the host immediately responded and was so friendly and kind. It’s about a two minute walk from the beach. Very quiet, the house has a lot to culture. I felt right at home, truly. Thank you Matthew !!

Great place, centrally located. 5 minute walk to Cafe Max and Main Street shops in one direction, and the Lakehouse Grille or Culver Coffee in the other, with Papa's just a couple minutes beyond that. The patio and main bedroom balcony are great for morning coffee and enjoying the view. Suzy was very responsive to messages. Will likely stay here again on the next trip.

We had a great time and really enjoyed staying at condo #165. It is a beautiful place, well stocked, and very clean!!

We have stayed at locations hosted by Jennifer before and each visit has gone great. She has been super attentive both before and after the stay. Can't imagine what she could have done to make it any better.

Great place for a large group of people! Although it is surrounded by other homes, the trees behind the property give it a very private feel. It is a quick walk to the beach which is very convenient. All of the neighbors were very kind to our group as we walked around. We tried out the New Mexican restaurant down the street and it was delicious. This was one of Sylwia’s recommendations. She did a great job of giving us a list of things to do around the area before we arrived. There’s 2 train stations very close, which we utilized to get to Chicago. It was about an hour trip and very convenient to get the Portage/Ogden Dunes Station from the Airbnb. We were a little worried about the location considering Gary does not have the best reputation, but it was closer to Portage, and in a very safe area. We never once felt unsafe. All in all, Sylwia was great, the Airbnb was great, and I would recommend her listing!!

Our second stay at Neon Dunes was just as marvelous as the first! Such a peaceful place with friendly neighbors, and so close to the beach. Check out the delicious food and great service at Del’s in Miller, Soul Food Sundays at J’s Breakfast Club in Midtown, and plentiful lunches at Great Lake Cafe near the mill gates. We love Gary, and this is the place to get cozy and embrace the community!

I would recommend this place to anyone!!! Truly an above and beyond host and space was clean and inviting! Cannot wait to come back

Patrick’s place is a rare find. Extraordinary Airbnb! It’s the most thoughtfully supplied kitchen. We enjoyed cooking brunch looking out on the park trails. We were lucky with perfect weather, which added to the loveliness. I know the area, to me the location is perfect…especially if you like long pretty walks. We had a fantastic stay! Super close to the Lake, which is just what we wanted. House looked exactly as pictured. Most comfortable beds I have ever slept in. Overall, a great experience.
