Beachfront holiday rental in Amazonas

I highly recommend Joao’s house. Staying there is an authentic Amazon experience and the highlight of my Amazon trip. The house is right on the river, and the pictures do not quite do the justice on how cool the location is, especially during sunrise and sunset. It is a great place to relax and watch the river peacefully flow by. The house is very clean, with a well stocked kitchen. It is surrounded by tropical trees and plants that I had seen for the first time. Joao was a great host. He communicated well and helped me with the pickup at Manaus. His brother waited for me and took me to shopping. When I booked, my biggest worry was how to get there, which turned out being as smooth as it gets. I mainly visited this area for fishing. I was not disappointed. I had very experienced local fishermen as my guides for the next few days, and we caught large peacock bass. I saw the Amazonian fisherman life at first hand. It’s well worth the ride getting there. I had a fantastic time.

Tudo maravilhoso, mas alguns itens precisam ser revistos para evitar futuras queixas ao meu ver : 1- Problema na descarga do vaso sanitário, que hora funciona e hora temos que abrir a tampa e manualmente parar o fluxo de água. 2- O Ar-condicionado não está regulando automaticamente a temperatura, obrigando a desligarmos e ligarmos para conforto térmico. No mais fomos muito bem recebidos e estamos muito satisfeitos e certeza voltaremos.

this is a little paradise in nature ...you have access to the river were you can boat and swim (1 canoe, 1 motor boat, 2 planchas) there is a huge land with animals... it is not far from Manaus...maybe 30 minutes you have to drive 10 minutes on dirt road after the gas station on km13 to access this place...but it is worth it. do not follow the directions from the site there are inaccurate the place is simple and feel connected with nature...very clean with an helper who speak indigenoys languages very thoughtful decoration... and right in the water recommended

What a wonderful experience! Igara's houseboat was fantastic, exactly like the photos. Her attention to detail is exceptional and she does whatever she can to make your stay perfect. From the marina, you take a taxi boat which takes about 5 minutes and costs $R10. To get back to the marina, we just hailed a boat - they pass regularly. This is a houseboat amongst a community of them, so you have people and movement around you. There is noise during the day because there are some party boats nearby, but at night time most boats are empty. The noise wasn't an issue though, but it may be for some people. We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 nights - thank you Igara fir a wonderful stay!

Excelente acomodações, local limpo, bonito e bem localizado. Fabiana foi muito gentil e atenciosa. Adorei a estadia, quero voltar mais vezes!

Apartamento limpo e bem cuidado, em um lugar seguro e de frente para a floresta. Utensílios necessários para passar um bom tempo como açúcar, sal, temperos, azeite e mais. Os anfitriões respondem quase que imediatamente e foram muito cuidadosos.

Casa belíssima, café da manhã farto e delicioso. A Geane, que nos atendeu, foi super atenciosa e simpática. Recomendo demais!!
