Tucked away on the outskirts of sleepy Lympsham, enjoy the countryside around you whilst resting your legs after walking the renowned mendips. Enjoy a glass of wine whilst watching the many birds in the surrounding trees or be a little more adventurous with the numerous local cycle routes. We look forward to meeting you on your stay. Traditional village gastronomic public house. Renowned cycling routes, good for ramblers. RSPB Greylake 2 miles away. Walters Retreat Shepherds Hut offers a quiet countryside stay on a working goat farm on the edge of the Polden Hills with great views of the Mendip Hills. It is close to many Somerset attractions including Glastonbury Tor, Cheddar Gorge and the City of Wells. Its a great base for walking and cycling and is only 5 miles from the somerset coast. There are two local shops in walking distance and a Pub / Restaurant half a mile walk away
