FUNKS INN-no extra guest fees or cleaning fee

This house was built in 1870, it is a stone structure and was used as a family farm home. It has been remodeled for its use today. It is historically correct, which includes antiques of the time. Post Civil War era, furniture including the beds of this period. Another interesting aspect, is that the floors are all original. Mattresses, blankets pillows, bedding and towels are all new. The wine cellar that we have added, made on location. I always leave some out for guests. No fee.

This was a great home to stay in and so close to all the stores and restaurants in town but out of the way of the main traffic in town. The back yard is a beautiful and serene place to relax and unwind. The entire property is vey clean and well maintained. Mandy is friendly and responsive. I couldn’t have asked for a better stay for my first Airbnb experience!

We were stopping through on a 5,000 mile road trip & it was like a spot of sheer relaxation & amazingness with something for everyone. The house was perfect for our family of 8 staying for 3 nights. Quiet and serene area out in the country but 10 min to town. We used the grill for a BBQ and we had plenty of seating for everyone. Bedrooms were great and plenty of living space for all. Would stay here again and recommend.

We had a wonderful stay! The host Lena was super responsive. We had trouble with the wi-FI our first day which we needed because we work remotely. They immediately reached out to their provider and restarted the router and it worked much better. The Carriage house is perfectly appointed- extra blankets and fans were easy to find, helpful notes around the home, well placed hooks for clothes and wet towels, bathroom necessities like Q-tips, shampoo and conditioner and lotion. The home is cozy, set in a beautiful location and very peaceful. We even walked in and found fresh eggs from their chickens! So thoughtful and gracious. Highly recommend.
